Hi low (why does that sound funny?)
There was a lead story about the Swiftees... Something about Kerry's "Bush smear" angle, then the anchor(?) said something I liked...
"These guys aren't backing down... They're hardcore!"

Later, there was another point/counterpoint with some Kerry weasle linking the Swiftee campaign to what happened to Senator McCain and poor Max Cleland. He said something like "eerily reminiscent" or something similar without actually saying it was the same. The Bush spokesperson did fine and countered all the guy's rehearsed talking points. (And she gave a pretty s-eating grin at the end like she had just laid the smackdown on the Kerry-ite) Wink

They referred to the call by Kerry to the Swiftee on Sunday, I believe, where he said with regard to the smears on the vets that he wasn't referring to the Swiftees in those remarks, but rather was referring to all the other veterans. (paraphrased)

There was a report about the "flying dog" story - the explosion that threw a dog named VC from Kerry's boat onto another boat..... (and comments that they didn't have dogs on the boats....) They'll probably talk about this again today.

(I think this was on Fox)

Watching Fox & Friends this A.M. Reported that there is going to be a movie out in 2 weeks called "Stolen Honor" - by Paul Galanti, it's about the Vets that spent time in the Hanoi Hilton, and the impact that Kerry's testimony here in the states had on them. Fox is the only place I've heard this (so far).

THAT WILL BE POWERFUL!

Ouch! All that Kerry soft money, down the toilet... Oh to think about the good they could have done with that dough...
