I am not going to go back and forth about when the tests were implimented but the fact remains the CIC is an ex-druggy, coke-head, and drunk....that's common knowledge |

Heard about the alcoholic (e.g. drunk) issue...otherwise, where's your proof!?
BTW, "Common Knowledge" is rarely common, nor knowledge.

The reason President Bush didn't show up for his physicals was because they had just started doing drug testing at that time.
Your glorious President, the one who served his county well during the Vietnam War was snorting coke and having fun while our boys were dying over there.
I can't stand Bush or Kerry, and I am not going to defend either one of them.
Get it straight...While the true vets were dodging bullets, Bush was drinking, snorting drugs and banging chicks.
Yeah, he sure did his duty. |
Too bad you couldn't stay quiet a little longer. We only thought you were a liar but now you've proved that either you are a liar are just too lazy to do some research or too deply indoctrinated by your DNC handlers that you wouldn't know the truth if it hit you in the face.
For your information "Speedy", drug testing was not available until 1984 for Guard and Reserve Units. I was a Battalion Commander in 1984 and ran my unit through drug testing prior to a Nuke ARTEP at Ft. Polk. I ended up shutting down a Battery that was HQ'd in Jersey City, NJ and moving their flag to Bristol, PA because close to 90% of the unit tested positive. The 10% who were left were offered slots in other reserve units in the Jersey City area if they did not chose to stay with the battery in it's new location. The rest of the unit did the "Dufflebag Drag". In 1985 the Army came out with the HIV test and we lost some more troops who tested positive for that and were declared non-deployable outside CONUS. |

Nuclear capable Artillery units were given the same priority for drug testing as Air National Guard and Army Flight units because of the Security considerations that go with Nuclear weapons. People who were involved with the "Golden Bullet" were tested on a recurring basis as part of the Reliability Program. We didn't get access to drug testing until 1984. Drug testing was NOT AVAILABLE to the Guard and Reserves in 1972. Your story has as many holes in it as a collander. |

Someone with a little business knowledge answer this.
GW walks into your office and wants a job with your company. You look at his resume and see the following.
1. Admitted to Cocaine use
2. Admitted to being an alcoholic
3. Failed at not 1, not 2, but 3 companies he ran
4. Cant stick to a budget
5. Knows very little about the economy
6. Lied (Come on now..He lied to Congress)
You are saying that you would hire this person?
If you just answered yes. I know longer fear GW I fear the idiots that support him |

Greenhat,
Actually, he did. According to the UCMJ, at least.
886. ART. 86. ABSENCE WITHOUT LEAVE
Any member of the armed forces who, without authority--
(1) fails to go to his appointed place of duty at the time prescribed;
(2) goes from that place; or
(3) absents himself or remains absent from his unit, organization, or place of duty at which he is required to be at the time prescribed; shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.
As his commanding officer could not evaluate his performance because he had no knowledge of where George W. Bush was even though he was stationed at that particular base, George W. Bush was AWOL according to the relevant statute in the UCMJ.
As to his alcohol abuse, his license was revoked in Maine because of drunk driving, and he lied to a judge to get it back early. All this is in the public record and is fact. Whether you choose to believe it or not is irrelevant. |
