Dole was terrific, especially the way he lobbed them in on Kerry in such a low-key manner.

Interesting how Kerry has this need to personally phone people who come out against him, picks TV talk hosts who will be soft on him (Dick Cavett in 1971, Jon Stewart now), sends surrogates to do his "dirty work" (Cleland, Rassman to Crawford TX), and has to have his few veteran supporters and Teresa nearby on the stage to prop him up. Now he whines foul every time he gets back what he dishes out.

This guy is a...WIMP!
