Edwards, 55, an attorney, was on the first leg of a three-day campaign swing through Florida that was announced only the day before.
At an invitation-only meeting of about 20 people, she spoke with local Democrats and military families to highlight the Kerry-Edwards commitment to the military.

Edwards called attacks on Kerry's military record an attack on all veterans.
Kerry was awarded three Purple Hearts during his four months as a swift boat operator in Vietnam, but some fellow combat veterans have disputed the medals and the justification for them. Upon Kerry's return to the states, he served as a spokesman for Vietnam Veterans Against the War.
"Every piece of information tells us what they are saying is not true," Edwards said. "These men are very angry at the stance Senator Kerry took after the war, and it has clouded their memories."

You would think that a lawyer would be able to understand a strong circumstancial case! Like most others who speak against the SwiftVets, Mrs. Edwards chooses not to look beyond the surface of double talk put out by the Kerry-Edwards campaign.

Speaking of wives, anyone hear from Teresa? Thought for sure they'd unleash that loose cannon by now.
Don't know who scares me more--Hillary or Teresa.

She'd sell her soul to the devil if it meant being the Second Lady and potential First Lady if anything happened to Kerry.

She is just a few more anniversary trips to "WENDYS" from having a heart attack.
The first thing she does after finishing her cheeseburger is say something REALLY STUPID. |
