Out of everyone who has appeared against Kerry I must say Bob Dornan was the most pissed off guy yet. He swore on all 15 of his grandchildren that Kerry said these things. Man he was tee'd off.

I think I see a new Democratic tactic brewing. The dems ar so anxious to silence the Swiftees they are preparing to play the race card. As Monica Crowley said, when they deal the race card it is always off the bottom of the deck. Pay close attenton to the diatribe coming from Julian Bond. He is saying that President Bush is taking us back to "Jim Crow" days. That's race baiting at its finest. The dems are definitely behind this. However, the majority of African Americans who vote democratic sold themselves down the river by indicating a total unwillingness to even consider President Bush or any other candidate. In other words, if their votes are not in play, why bother? Now Julian Bond is trying to turn truth on its head by saying that the republicans don't cater to them enough. Well, Julian, you took your playing marbles and went home a long, long time ago. In the meantime, this may very likely be the new tactic they will use to try to take the wind out of our sails.

Why do these guys like Glenn fail to see what happened 35 years ago IS important. It shows what kind of person Kerry is. He went to Vietnam because it was the thing to do politically. He came home, saw the tide turning against the war, so naturally he was antiwar. But unlike others who came back and were against the war, he lied to congress and was a communist simpathizer. He went to Paris to meet with North Vietnam reps while a member of the military. This shows that he will do whatever is politically in vogue at the time. It shows what he will do to this country in the future because he has done it in the past. People need to get this!

Prior to the election in'92, Rush Limbaugh said over, and over, and over, character counts. Rush was talking about Bill Clinton, and his lack of it. Well, Clinton got elected, and look what we wound up with. Kerry has less character than Clinton by a wide margin.
Why is Colms saying that this web sight is saying that Admiral Schachte was not on the skimmer? It says right in the 1st Purple hart section that he was there. What is he talking about?
As usual, Colmes very deliberately MISquotes the source he cites.

The Swiftvets account:

"The action that led to John Kerry's first Purple Heart occurred on December 2, 1968, during the month that he was undergoing training with Coastal Division 14 at Cam Ranh Bay. While waiting to receive his own Swift boat command, Kerry volunteered for a nighttime patrol mission commanding a small, foam-filled "skimmer" craft with two enlisted men. The purpose of the patrol, which Kerry later described as "a half-assed action that hardly qualified as combat," was to find Vietcong guerillas moving contraband around a peninsula north of the bay on sampans.

"As an officer in command (OIC) in training, Kerry reported during this mission to William Schachte, who eventually retired as a Rear Admiral. Schachte flatly contradicts Kerry's claim to have been wounded by enemy fire, saying that after his M-16 jammed, Kerry picked up an M-79 grenade launcher and fired a grenade that exploded too close to the boat, causing a small piece of shrapnel to stick in the skin of his arm. Kerry himself did not report receiving hostile fire that night, which would have been required, and there is no record of hostile fire for the mission."

I often wonder how a fellow like Colmes can look at himself in the mirror?

BTW, a copy of Unfit For Command arrived yesterday, so I dropped everything, sat down and read the book from cover to cover. The book's a terrific read, and I can't thank the Swifties enough for coming to America's aid ... AGAIN.

Best,
Clare

B1 Bob has always been a stand up guy, and he takes no prisoners. If I had his email address I'd thank him too. Alan Colmes doesn't want any part of Bob Dornin.

According to his web site, his email address is: admin@bobdornan.com but mine was returned due to a "quota violation." My guess is that geeky message means his mail box is full. I'll try later.

I thought Pat Cadell was the most honest Democratic guest they have had on talking about the SwiftVets.

He said Kerry made a huge error in making Vietnam the focus of his candidacy and that Kerry has misplayed his response to it from the beginning.

He didn't engage in any personal attacks or smears like most other dem talking heads do.

Cadell isn't much given to hype, besides, he's an ex-Democratic strategist. So, he really isn't operating under any official Democrat sanction. That allows him to call 'em as he see's 'em.

Former CA. congressman B-1 Bob Dornan just introduced some explosive evidence. He held up a communist flag (one of 300 he said were flown by Kerry's VVAW group on the National Mall in 1971. In addition, he showed a North Vietnamese flag that was flown that day along with a tattered American flag that was burned on the ground near John Kerry at the same war protest rally! Wow. We need Bob Dornan on our side. He is Pi*****ed off. Pat Cadell indicate that this thing (the SVFT) group would fade away and Dornan empatically screamed that it was not going away and that he is not going to be silenced.

Bob Dornan said that he filmed the event with Kerry and the flag burning. If this can be posted on the Internet this could severly damage Kerry. Kerry has MSM (Main Stream Media), so they will never cover it, but we have the Internet.

Just a reminder; There are some good Democrats still out there who would like to rescue their party from the extreme far left. Pat Cadell appears as if he may see it and so do ones like Zell Miller.

Let's keep that in mind when we get upset and want to hammer on Democrats.

Let's make a big effort to contact Dornan. We NEED that video. Perhaps a call from John O'Neill?
