They only want it dropped because it's hurting their boys chances of getting into the White House. Otherwise, we'd still be hearing daily does of what a "hero" Johnny boy was.
The latest tactic seems to be claiming that Kerry was "honorable" for speaking the truth about Vietnam. In other words, slander all veterans all over again.
Over on DU, weeks ago they were discussing "taking it to the streets" if their boy loses. The thought of the retaliation if that happens frightens me, but we may just see the current Civil War the U.S. is in explode.
Many veterans have tried in vain for decades to speak the truth about Vietnam. Any allies found were swiftly denounced as cranks and crackpots. Kerry gave us the moment we need and we will keep pressing on until we have corrected the record. _________________ Clark County Conservative |

I think they are breaking wind. If not we will just have two fronts to fight.....DU and Al Queda. Homeland Security and Ashcroft will have their work cut out for them though. _________________ "And no pair has been more wrong, more loudly, more often, than the two Senators from Massachusetts, Ted Kennedy and John Kerry"

I agree, air it all out, and expose these "useful idiots" for what they are.
Revolution every once in a while is a good thing!
I think I read that somewhere before. |

I've believed in letting sleeping dogs lie. I thought the 60s went away especially after Klintons election.John Boy said then- well ya know we all served in our own way. Well the thing is the war affected us as individuals ,in private ways . Just bieing quiet would work, untill I'd go off on Jane F. Fonda,or when Cronkite did a thing on t he men of Charley co.(portrayed them as idiots) . At which point I'd be disgruntled, feeling ticked off and mad just wasn't the acceptable way-it wasn't mature-and that story goes on.Then back to today, along comes omnifcent Johny wraped up in a silver lining and his history.Well I don't buy it.What I do buy is his knowledge that an organized group can accomplish more than an individual sitting on his laurels putting up with whatever comes down the pike. Whats greater than one group is severall organized groups of not trashy azzed protesters ,but vets willing to act and do, as we each can, to defeat him. To his folly I hope the fella thinks vets are just going to sit and listen to his enundos and" truths." The group of Swift Vets has earned my admiration and support-thanks guys! |
