Glad you pointed out Hitler as a socialist. Though everyone knows that Nazi stands for National Socialist, most people think of Hitler as right wing. Far from it.

| In listening to Kerry's speech to the Senate in 1971, I could see how one could easily replace Vietnam with Iraq in that speech and get a very clear picture as to how he views the situation in Iraq and how he would deal with it. This guy is nightmare material. |

Thanks for the link -- I've been there before but didn't read any of the files (oh please -- I need 80 hrs in a day right now...) -- I did go thru a few right now tho.... There are some things I'm going to pull out, some Kerry quotes ... but in general, what strikes me is that I've heard off and on someone saying, "Can you imagine? The FBI having a file on Kerry?" It's always said with such indignation. Such a recoiling -- the thought that shadowy arms of the gov't might watch people -- who ARE UP TO NO GOOD. Geez. Read any of the stuff on the VVAW and then put him at the head of it -- and then wonder why he was being watched? Again, thanks for the data. |

I also so reported on Fox News that members of the old Weatherman Underground would be protesting as well. I just hope they don't forget to bring along an extra bag of Depends -- they'll probably need them!

Y'know, that speech -- and the continual pounding of that concept, that preachy "from two Americas ---- ONE" ! And everyone applauds. But it PISSED ME OFF. I wasn't sure why, just sort of a feeling of "me" slipping away in that scenario: a "oneness" from "the many" -- something creepy about it. Hey - were those the folks that were always blowing things up? Took ages to catch them and then only when they gave themselves up. ...maybe it was another group, I forget the name. |
