I have (go figure) heard numerous reports of AWC's wounds and several sources state that AWC still has shrapnel in his body from the wound. I've heard it's in his back and most recently in his leg. I can understand why shrapnel would be left in his back, but if it's in his leg what would the medical explanation be for leaving a piece of otherwise possibly contaminated metal in a leg?

Anyone?
