quick question
I respect the WSJ,but I no longer read regularly becuase I don't subscribe, and quite frankly its about a 20 mile drive for me to get a copy.(40 mile roundtrip, enough to reach Cambodia and be back in time for caroling)
What is the consensus of the WSJ handling of this?

The Wall Street Journal is great, they have some real good columns
on this and are generally for the Swiftvets or have some criticism of
Kerry's group. This link will take you to the Opinion Journal and you can
find what you want there. All the columnists are listed on the left.
Good reading! Very Happy

As far as rading on-line WSJ op-ed goes....I prefer to go right to the opinion page (you can scan down the list of topics that interest you). Free online subscription also.

WSJ is somewhat paradoxical. The front page is somewhat liberal while
the editorial is conservative. This is the opinion of John Fund, the editor. Also, it is my opinion since I subscribe to WSJ.

I also subscribe and concur - the front page, while wonderfully written most of the time, definitely trends liberal compared to the editorial page. If I only have time to read a little, I go for the editorials.

They've been quite supportive of the story, and have printed several editorials saying so, along with other opinion pieces from other writers.

I also get the online version of Opinion Journal and like it very much. The editor is quite humorous at times.

The Journal is the paper of American Opportunity! If it has any Bias it's towards Capitalism.

IMHO it's the best editorial rag in the nation and I've been reading it daily for 40 years.
