...because it's cooked;

"We will not quickly join those who march on Veteran's Day waving small flags, calling to memory those thousands who died for the "greater glory of the United States." We will not accept the rhetoric. We will not readily join the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars-in fact, we will find it hard to join anything at all and when we do, we will demand relevancy such as other organizations have recently been unable to provide. We will not take solace from the creation of monuments or the naming of parks after a select few of the thousands of dead Americans and Vietnamese. We will not uphold traditions which decorously memoralize that which was base and grim." - John Kerry in "A New Soldier", Epilogue, Page 100

From;

It's all over now. Kerry overtly spits on Veterans in his book and every war memorial dedicated to Americas servicemen(and women); past, present and future. Nobody in their right mind, Left, Right or Center, is going to vote this guy into the White House.

Maybe this quote from Kerry's book could be part of the next Swift Boat TV ad.

Also, everyone should e-mail this quote to every conservative talk show host in the country including Matt Drudge who should be encouraged to make it a headline.

Swift's comments and efforts have had great benefits in challenging people to re-examine Kerry's qualifications for the Presidency. But calling his efforts "finished" could be too early.

The guy has several million dollars to spend advertising the issues he feels Bush is "weak" on. Considering the naivity of the average American voter, I suggest the "battle"is still far from won.

I enjoy the reports that Kerry is losing ground in his key states of PA WI and others, but suggst that leaving the battlefield at this point would be as wrong as LBJ's withdrawls from land won by the blood of our brothers in Nam.

We stood only standdown when the enemy has surrendered, laid down their arms and withdrawn from the battlefield.

I agree, it's not over until its over.
We do have momentum, and even the liberal press smells blood in the water, but we have to assume the Kerry supporters and the DNC are just regrouping. Expect a coordinated talking points attack after the Republican Convention, from Moveon.org to the Kerry campaign...(of course there is no coordination between Kerry and his 527s)

I wouldn't stick a fork in Mickey Mouse if he was the Democrat candidate. A sizeable portion of voters barely know the name of the candidate, let alone what they've done or said. And many do not want to know. Listen to Sean Hannity's "Man on the Street" segment on his radio talk show if you don't believe this. The main thing they know is that they "hate George Bush."

Yes, they hate the President but they don't know why. Many seem to know only what their rapper mentors tell them: "Vote for Kerney & Padd."

Per the Hannity show link, I don't know if he records his radio shows on his website or not, but you can check out www.hannity.com It was last week, maybe Friday, I don't remember, when he was talking to people voting for "Kerney" and I thought he said: "Stu Ped."

That Hannity show is still playing until 3PM Eastern, today - catch it if you can. It was HILARIOUS!

And at the same time, very sad....

And California is talking about lowering the voting age to 14???? Hello?
