Just got this off of Brit Humes Political Grapevine section:

The Oregon Bar Association is launching a "preliminary investigation" into 49 ethics complaints it received this week against Clackamas County prosecutor and Swift Boat Veteran for Truth Al French.

French swore in an affidavit that John Kerry received two of his three Purple Hearts "from negligently self-inflicted wounds in the absence of hostile fire." But he later told the Portland Oregonian he doesn't know that first-hand.

Now, you can best believe this is going to be used big time against the SBVT. What do we do about this?

Don't sweat it. This is last week's "news". The "ethics" claim is a non-starter -- but typical Democrat smear. Their issue is that French swore to the statement -- "of his own knowledge and belief", but didn't personally witness the events.

So long as he believed in what he attested to -- he's ok. And he certainly believes it to be true.

The other French flap is that he purported lied about an office affair TEN YEARS ago. Fot this, the ultra-left DA suspended him with pay for thrity days, pending an investigation. This is the one we should be writing letters about.

I thought the Democrats believe that it's ok to lie about sex.

Sounds to me like they have to prove it WASN'T negligent on Kerry's part.

That means bringing out and researching more records, which keeps the traitor in the spotlight.

And isn't just a trifle odd that the Clackamas DA has nothing better to do with their time than to chase after this sort of thing?

And if they do have that kind of time, why don't they investigate Kerry's lying on the Senate floor ("Christmas in Cambodia" lies) and his lies to a Congressional panel in 1971, since he didn't personally see the raping and mass murdering that he was accusing his fellow Veterans of engaging in?

The Kerry campaign has compiled what they call "Brown Books," collating medical, financial, employment and political data on as many of the founders as they could find.

This story that isn't probably isn't going to go anywhere, and the leftist media will cover up the personal smear aspects.

But, this is the depths to which the desperate have sunk.

The Kerry campaign has made every possible mis-step since the DNC convention.

These men have put their lives on hold and sacrificed their privacy to their ideal and conviction that Americans have the right to know who this candidate really is.

They served honorably back then - they serve the idea of "honor" once again.

Their stock just keeps going up, in my way of thinking.

I'm fully behind the efforts being put forth by the guys. Hell, I've even started donating money to them. My concern and it's already starting to be heard in the news is they are starting to get everybody believing that what the guys have said has been proven to be false.

Terry McAufull was just on Fox not too long ago and you should have heard the crap coming from him. I was yelling at the T.V. My mom looked at me like I was nuts. My point is, if Fox is going to give these Liberal nutbags a pass, what do you think the MSM is going to do. There should be some concern out there.

Ad #4 is great. However, the Libs out there keep repeating Lie, Lie, Lie, and the ignorant horde out there is going to start believing them.

I'm going to continue to donate, but we need to be sure we have our ducks in a row here and really start hitting this traitor hard and with facts to back things up. I know, his camp has had to backtrack on things he has said, but seriously, how often have we heard anybody stating that fact.

The great thing to keep in mind is that Fox has a much larger viewership than any of the MSM.

More people are getting their news on the internet every day - sites like this one. Wink

It's going to be a rough time for Al French, no doubt about it. And pretty soon, the next smear will pop up in the tabloids.

But, keep focused.

Nobody's paying much attention to the MSM - are you watching the polls? A ten or twelve point reversal in just the last week on one of them!

Just keep promoting the truth. Continue with your email campaigns - short, pithy and factual will always get more attention than dissertations.

And as Sean Hannity says, "Let not your heart be troubled."

Don't get overconfident, but don't let the ups and downs get you, either. And please find those other threads on French to put your mind at ease.

Seem to be saying thanks to you a lot. For the record in case somebody looks at my last post and says "Mom?" She lives with my wife and I and takes care of our son. Lucky to have her with us and she's been a God send.

I'll try to keep my chin up, but you have to understand something, I'm sitting over here in London and talk about Socialist thinking. If this is what Kerry has in mind for us, God help us. Blair may be behind us in Iraq, but man are his Domestic policies a nightmare for these people over here.

They are so blinded that they will even deny it, after they hear Kerry's own words say it, and see the video's.
I can't wait for Kerry to throw a full blown temper tantrum in public. It's gotta happen sooner or later. This monkey is growing into a gorilla and he can't shake it off.
Look at the call he made to one of the guys after the convention. He doesn't get nor will he ever.

just had poll in PA......don't know if scientific or now.... wait my vcr is still taping... I'll check it.... they don't say if scientific... just latest poll says... for those who say war on terror most important = 71% for Bush....22% for Kerry....
I've not seen any polls with that big a gap before.....
