Folks,

Just curious. Have any of you had a problem getting U4C at Sam's Club? My father went to his local store, and they told him that they had been told by phone to remove the book from sale. I just got off an online chat with a Sam's Club sales rep, and they said that they were just out of stock. To make sure my folks get the book, I just ordered another copy from Amazon.com.

I'm just curious if any of you have heard similar stories from Sam's Club or other retailers. Many thanks.

yup, pretty sure WalMart wears their socially conservative values on their sleeve.

I have been checking in our local store, Albuquerque, NM, and it has not been available. I have also been looking for it online and it has not been there either. I just emailed them to find out why.

I'd be surprised to find out that Sam's would in any way suppress this book. JMO.

Walmart/Sam's are based in Arkansas. You won't find the Unfit for Command ever in their inventory.

In my city (pop. 75,000) we have 4 major chain bookstores, not to mention assorted other retailers. Since the book came out it was "out of stock", "not released yet", "never heard of it" until yesterday when I finally got a call after being placed on a "waiting list" at all 4. Great book.
