To continue my line of thinking, it seems to me the much of the efforts of the left wing of the Democratic party to cripple our intelligence services is based on fear of discovery of their personal links to communist front groups.
From the Church Committee, to Carter's gutting of the CIA, to Kerry trying to cut intelligence budgets, to Clinton erecting walls between foreign and domestic intelligence agencies, to the current hatred of the Patriot act - the Left has a history of trying to harm the Nation's ability to defend itself from action by foreign powers. I can only conclude they fear exposure of the connections they have to groups that were fronts for KGB intelligence operations in support of the North Vietnamese. I believe that some were only "usefull idiots" and unaware of the connections. Others must have had full knowledge and are still communists today.
A concerted effort by the government to track terrorist organizations and their allies cannot avoid the connections between Islamofascism and the hard left. Eventually, the trail must come back to the activities of the American anti-war left. This is the root of their fear.
The left in this country has had ties to Soviet Communism going back to the 1920's. This current bunch is just continuing a great American tradition of treason. The cries of McCarthyism were, are, and have always been a smokescreen to deflect examination of subversive activities.

Here is a link to an excerpt of "Masters of Deceit" by J. Edgar Hoover.
The book was published in 1958 and is a detailed exposure of Communist methods to fool the public. Read it for yourself and see how relevant it is to today!

If anyone can find a link to the text of the entire book, we need to get it posted for everyone to read.

This is not over by a long shot, not until the record is set stright about Vietnam, the media, and kerry. I don't think this should be let go even after Nov. 2.

Anne Coulter just said on Hannity radio show that she "thinks it's over" too.

It is not over but is looking real good. And I agree Kerry has to pay the piper with veterans before it is truly over. You can look for the illegitimate election thing and court challenges if Kerry losses just count on it

Well said. Now with Kerry as the tip of the spear for them, the jig may well be up.
We need to get this fish in the boat, hooking it isn't enough.....

It is looking more and more like he's washed up. However, they have two months to go with millions of dollars, the major networks behind them, hollywood, and nasty groups like moveon.org. Now is not the time to let up and I'm sure the SwiftVets know that (after all they fought the viet cong). Even after Kerry loses he still needs to sign the 180. He also needs to lose his senate seat and be brought up on charges of treason.

As a common citizen with no mean degree of naivete and paranoia, I've been suspicious of left wing motives but have no connections to prove anything. If someone has knowledge or even hearsay rumors of such links, we'd all like to hear them. We know these self-serving opportunists are not motivated by an innate thirst for truth, justice or enhanced freedom.

Hello,

After the elections I will continue my war against the attacks being made against us by Al-Qaeda on the internet and anti-Americans.

ISHW (Internet Security Home Watch) was established to win back the hearts and minds of Americans that have been poisoned by Anti-American and Al-Qaeda operatives using forums and chat room.

The war is not over after the elections.

It is up to us to keep the people informed.

We are at war with Jihad.

Kerry must never enter the Office of the President of the U.S.A.

We'll se how long that lasts now that Muslim terrorists have kidnapped French folks, and are demanding that France lift the ban on Muslim dress in French schools. now it's all "Why are they attacking us, we were on their side." Amazing that the bloody French couldn't see through the terrorist agendas and realize that all free people are in the sights of the Islamist extremists. Germany isn't immune either. Won't it be a rude awakening for them to finally see that we're all in the same boat with regard to terrorism. Maybe they think John F-ing Kerry will come to their rescue. Fat chance, he doesn't want to go after terrorism on behalf of his own country. What a jerk he is to politicize everything for his own benefit.
