Kerry talks about Cheney's 5 deferrments as if he wouldn't have taken that 5th deferrment himself, if they would have let him go to school in Fraaance.
How many rich kids with Kennedy connections couldn't manage to stay out of the military when they wanted to? Some effin' jhenius he is. _________________ It's downright brilliant the way he's reserving his devastating intellect to spring it on us at exactly the right moment. |

Is Kerry jealous?
Cheney and Kerry both wanted and applied for deferments.
Cheney was successful and Kerry was not.
Has *anyone* in the press *ever* called Kerry on this?
Ever?
"Senator Kerry, you've taken issue with the Vice President's deferments."
"Isn't it true that you actually applied for a deferment in order to study in Paris, but you were denied?"
"Are you upset that the Vice President successfully avoided Vietnam but you were not successful in your attempt to avoid it?"
"Senator Kerry, speaking of Paris, isn't it true that when you returned..." |

And it bugs the crappola out of me when some geek from Bahhstahn (or whatever) tries to use Texas-isms. ("All hat and no cattle.")
Well, Mr. Kerry, you are "all hate and no mettle." Now shove off, or as your little missus would say, "shove it."
And roger to the poster that said Mr. Kerry did a better job of highlighting the contrasts between himself and President Bush, with his midnight whine, than all the eloquence of the speeches at the RNC.
Mr. Bush fought back tears when he discussed the sacrifice and courage of our military and their families. Mr. Kerry comes on TV immediately afterwards smirking and grinning like the village idiot, talking about some freakin' baseball standings.
Lets review:Folded flags. Heroic sacrifice. Love. Courage. Commitment. Honor. VERSUS: Baseball stats. Inappropriate humor. Hackneyed cliches.
Ooh, baby, it is a GIFT, what this bozo is giving---a pure gift!
I sign off now to hit the rack with a smile on my face, but tomorrow is a new day and the war begins anew.
Please good people--don't give up, back off, or become complacent. And PRAY for the President, our men and women in service, and this election.
Thanks,
kimmymac |
