There is still no word as to whether or not this is emergency surgery. Leave it to Bubba to draw attention away from the Presidential campaign by any means necessary! Wink

well, in case you haven't noticed it, no one is really covering kerry's speech or President Bush's speech today...

What they are covering is a hurricane that is weakening and will most likley be a Tropical storm this time tomorrow....

The MSM is drooling over this now minor hurricane which will hit at a level 1 or 2 at the most, IMHO....

Well, I definitely noticed it because my wife is visiting her parents in Orlando right now. I sure hope you're right about it dying down.

Despite how I feel about Clinton, let's keep this respectful of the fact he was a President and is now in a bad way medically. I may not like the man, but humanity goes across political ideology.

While I have no love for Slick Willie, I hope he comes through this okay. How long before the DNC and Kerry try to pin this on Bush or the Swifties!!

Actually, I am now hearing that he had an angioplasty already and if so, he gets some accolades for not releasing this during the convention...

But it appears the release of this dictates they kept it silent...

IMHO, clinton would like to see kerry lose as well, which also means he may not be campaigning much...

I would like to also ask others to be respectful, and I do hope he recovers as well.

Regards,
Joe

Here's a comment I saw on another blog, PoliPundit, that I felt was plagiarism-worthy:

"In 1993, President Clinton tried to legislate a Canadian style health system in the U.S. In Canada, the average wait for emergency bypass surgery is 3 months. It is illegal to pay for health services outside of the national health plan. Every year, many Canadians die while waiting for the surgery that President Clinton received immediately. By failing to socialize medicine in the U.S., President Clinton has saved his own life."

Let's all say a prayer for Pres. Clinton. Maybe this close to death will make him realize a few things about how he has led his life to date.
