I've heard that Silver Stars don't come with Vs for valor. What's the word on that citation and doesn't Kerry say that his medal has a V attached ? |

I just heard that Kerry's campaign has responded to the V with his Silver Star. They say it is a type "O" even though it was noted that they haven't corrected the "type o" on the website yet. |

No "V" device for a Silver Star, but that's what's posted on Kerry's web page - DD214. The Navy is supposedly looking into it and will find out if it's a "clerical error" or falsifying of documents. There are a lot of threads on here with the details. |
