I had turned Imus off when he went into the tank for Kerry. I only turned him back on this week when he went into the undecided category. This mornings interview with Cavett -- I have turned him off permanently and am writing MSNCC, the local radio station, and Imus as well and telling him I hope he catchs cancer from one of his kids.

This made me angry.

Imus burned his brain on coke in the not so distant past. If he came out in support of George Bush I would vomit. He is such an pathetic egoist I am sure he writes his own name in on the ballot. Cavett is a washed-up has been, looking for attention.

Making fun of a man for giving his wife a kidney is as retarded as making fun of Heston or Reagan for getting Alzheimer's, and is note worthy only because these are the people who claim that compassion is the exclusive property of the Democratic party. It is a tiresome outrage.

If Mr. O'Neill has gained some weight, perhaps Imus could instruct him on the coke-head diet plan, guaranteed to reduce one's weight, brain cells, ability to make sound judgments, and character.

Hmmm...maybe a few extra pounds is NOT the worse sin?

Slightly off topic, but something I have often wondered when hearing these types of remarks: Do people not understand the idea of, "There but for the Grace of God, go I?"

These people truly deserve an a$$ beating, but will get only my pity. After all, God could have made me as stupid and weak as he has made them, but in His infinite grace and mercy He spared me that living hell.

jataylor: I realize you are angry, but if I may? I would caution you against becomeing that which you hate. Certainly write to Imus and his radio station, but remember these people live only by stirring up controversy.

My advice? Turn him off and leave him off. Life is too short to listen to the insane rantings of the morally and spiritually bankrupt like Imus.

The angry and fanatic liberals are poor soul individuals.

This is really a very clear window into the mental makeup of your
garden variety liberal ( or toad ).
Why would anyone make fun of such a brave and selfless act??
Real simple. Liberals will say "live and let live" and "I wouldn't take a stand",
but they are really the most selfish, self centered, souless people
on the face of the earth. They believe in nothing.
They hate a Pat Tillman who volunteered and died for his country.
They hate a John O'Neill who bravely gave a vital organ to his wife.
Because these acts threaten their concept of reality.
How could anyone have such courage? It doesn't exist in their minds.
If it did exist they would be forced to realize that they are sub human.

I 2nd the motion to just "TURN OFF" Imus,

The whole "ranch" thing has been exposed as a fraud, Its little more then a vacation home for him and his family.

As a charity, it doesn't work well since it doesn't help very many children.

Imus is a fraud, a ego maniac, intellectually dishonest and not all togather bright.

Best not to give him any of your attention anymore.

Its all bogus anyway.

Here's a reference to "Cavity's" remarks about Zell:

Yeah. And don't forget about Senator Byrd. But I guess he's OK because he changed his mind.

Heard Imus say today on a Boston Radio Station that he no longer supported Kerry, but that he would not say who he was going to vote for. He also said the Kerry campaign wants to come on the show. Imus told his producer to set it up but that the Kerry campaign would not like it since it would be a tough interview. He was sounding real upset with Kerry but with Imus you never know it could all be spin just to promote the show. Will just have to wait and see.
As for Cavett he is trying to live in the past since the presant really does not hold to much for him.

The Living Skull, Dick Cavett, showed that he's the flaming liberal he's always been on Imus by laughing about O'Neill giving a kidney to his wife with Imus, who also thought it was hilarious. Can you get any lower than that? Cavett then went on to laugh (with that fake liberal laugh of his) about O'Neill putting on weight. He also said Nixon's handlers pampered O'Neill before his debate with Kerry on his show and probably fondled him for all he knew. What a disgusting, slanderous, biased *******.

The fake "compassion and intolerance" that the liberals profess is despicable. Today, during a rally, Bush mentioned that Clinton would have by-pass heart surgery. He wished him well and the crowd cheered in response as to say, "good luck" to Clinton. We all know what a similar crowd at a Kerry rally would do if it were Bush going under the surgeon's knife!!!

IMUS is decidedly a strange character and a somewhat aguired taste.

He will kiss up to both liberals and conservatives. Sometimes he is real sensitive and other times he does just crude very distasteful routines.

I think his strong support for Kerry was mostly just a bit for the show. If you have watched or listened to him long enough you know his endorsing anyone doesn't last long.

The show has been occasionally supporting the swiftboat cause in the guise of wisecracks from his on-air staff. Imus likes to have on quests he finds interesting and amusing and important. He seldom has Representatives on his show but lots of Senators are regulars, including Kerry prior to his presidential bid. He had former President Bush on this week and it was a quite good interview I thought.

He has a very good knack of getting people to say things they later really regret.

His official position is he is pissed at Kerry for not making a stop at his ranch while the train passed though to say hi to the kids.

I find enough of his stuff to be good to watch and listen but when he starts kissing liberal butt I just turn to Fox or some other channel until he is done.

You have defined a prostitute to a Tee. Imus is a "Girlie man" in a pink skirt.
Perfect.
