I saw John Edwards on C-Span. He said that the whole Republican National Convention had been about attacking John Kerry's record in Vietnam... and they want to talk about John Kerry's record in Vietnam because they don't want to talk about jobs going over seas...

He must have confused it with his own convention... Except teh spent the whole convention glorifying it while at teh same time saying that what happened 35 years ago really doesn't matter.. It 's about the future.

At least he has stopped talking about two Americas after Arnold's line, "They talk about two Americas, one where Kerry is on one side of an issue and another where he is the other side..."

John Edwards is a problem for Kerry in that he is a very poor attack dog. That means Kerry has to be his own attack dog. The attack dog postion is not very becoming for a presidential candidate. He has even stooped to attacking Cheney.

It would be a Rupublican dream to have Kerry and Cheney going at it over Vietnam.

If you were running for pres. who would you rather have as your attack dog--edwards or Cheney? I cannot wait for the debates. I heard Cheney is very motivated to rip into edwards like a bulldog into a hotdog

I don't remember one word about Kerry's Viet Nam record other than a couple of times his service being acknowledged and praised. He is a liar.

The one I watched praised his Vietnam service, which took less than a minute.

Then was not mentioned again.

It is an outrage that this guy can just tell outright lies and not be called on it. These lies by Edwards shows want a degenerate. It is amazing that he is all the Democrats have to put up for VP.

He apparently wasn't listening to the Dems convention.
It's OK not many others were listening either.

Is it just me or does Edwards sound like a cartoon when he talks.

The Kerry/Edwards plan?
