I don't know if this made the MSM news but on the evening of President Bush's speech at the Republican National Convention, someone came/drove by and shot at the Republican Headquarters while people were inside watching the speech. Fortunately, no one was hurt. But since then, the headquarters has been repeatedly vandalized.
