Nixon gives advice to Kerry:
"It's the Cover-up...STUPID!!"
(tm)
This is true Irony....as how the Media swarmed and took down Nixon, the only clear thing, the only thing meaningful from all those efforts by the media, was the simple lesson, the cover-up is worse than events. At this point Kerry's cover-up (including not signing form 180) is what is tearing him apart. Not talking to the media--> Is a Cover-Up. The wholesale shuffling of his campaign staff will do NOTHING unless Kerry's Cover-Up stops...and he tell the truth.

Kerry is doing everything to avoid simply coming clean, telling the truth, and answering questions. Nothing from his advisors can change or avoid the simple truth, that Kerry has to face and address what he did. Kerry is attempting to cover up and hide his past. He full navel records are much like Nixon's Watergate tapes. Kerry must release them, or he has no hope to do anything but flounder.

Yup you heard it here first: "It's the Cover-up...STUPID!!" ) (tm)
If you don't learn from history you are doomed to repeat it.

Of course it's the cover-up that'll ultimately bring him down--

Same darned thing with Clinton--If he'd just admitted from the beginning that he was doing Monica, or even if he's said "Y'know what?--It's none of your dad-gum business--Whether or not I'm boinking an intern has not a single thing in the world to do with the execution of the duties of this Office and my personal matters are of no consequence--Now leave me alone" there would have been some flap in the press and amongst my fellow Republicans for a few weeks and then the whole thing would have blown over--

And the Country would have been far better off for it--

In Kerry's case, it likely would have been no different if he'd just told the truth in the first place--But they all seem to think that they're so much smarter then everyone else and they can keep their dirty laundry under wraps if their denials are sufficiently loud and indignant--

Which, of course, only proves that they're nowhere near as smart as anyone else--C

While I can agree that a cover-up is not a good idea, I cannot agree with the above statements. For God sakes, he dishonored the presidency and the literal office of the presidency. That is not the kind of president I want, ever. And John F. Kennedy was not one bit better.

It would seem that Kerry is bringing in the staff to help him cover up...rather than actually addressing anything....notice he still has not given any interviews or press conferences on Camera.
