|
|
Just a few miscellaneous notes about Kerry. (If they don't belong here then throw them out.)
Kerry's current "fires":
1. SBVFT issues
2. Campaign staff overhaul (Remember Senator Kerry, you're the one who picked your staff in the first place. Why do I suspect that Kerry would "manage" his Cabinet using this same "technique"?)
--And "fire fighter" (as opposed to "fire preventer") Kerry wants to lead the global war against terrorism in full cooperation with the UN?
Also, Pres Clinton recently advised Kerry to "get out of Vietnam" and start addressing current issues again. (Did Kerry really need to be advised about such a basic campaign strategy? And are we also seeing the true pecking order within the Democratic Party?)
But, what Clinton should have told Kerry:
"Get out of Vietnam" and start addressing current issues again. But whatever issue you address, first review that last thing you said about a particular issue. We're not concerned with what side of the fence you were on then - just stick to your most recent opinion. Hopefully President Clinton will remember that he has to spell these things out for Kerry because...
Kerry did take Clinton's advice concerning directing his attention to current issues. But Clinton's "vague" advice (predictably?) backfired as Kerry once again flip-flopped on his previous position concerning the good and the bad of the Iraq War. And then Kerry didn't use his own words when he publicly questioned why Bush even started the Iraq war in the first place. Mr. "in the middle" Kerry uses the words of leftist Howard Dean, "wrong war, wrong place, wrong time":

(last two paragraphs)
So from an initial group of 10+ democratic presidential candidate hopefuls...

you made some good points
re this one
Quote: | Campaign staff overhaul |
Dick Morris , previously of the Clinton campaign was on OReilley tonight, and spoke about the Clinton guys going over to help Kerry - Carville & ? -- Morris said Clinton wouldnt/didnt even use those 2 guys for his own reelection campaign. His point being that they will not be a help to Kerry.. _________________ .

Which goes back to the point I made to my husband long ago -- the Clintons knew Kerry would implode and this suits their purposes perfectly. Then they send the "dream team" (gag) to help him -- like an anchor around his neck (all puns intended). I wouldn't even be surprised if Bill Clinton scheduled his bypass for this precise time so that he would have an excuse not to campaign.
Boy, the democrats should be really, really upset. |
