Many herein have suggested that we refer to the MSM from now on as "old media." I'd suggest we refer to it as OIM (old irrelevant media) instead. At least all the letters are keyed with the right hand while the shift key is held down with the left. Seriously, LOL.

Boston Globe

NY Times
Associated Press
UPI
Reuters
CBSNews

All of the above are illegally operating as news entities, and should instead be filing for 527 status.

Quote:
The group, whose attacks on the war record of Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry have attracted national attention, claims it has raised $6.7 million but portrays itself as a grass-roots effort thriving on small contributions.

"The average contribution to Swift Boat Veterans for Truth is $65," Weymouth Symmes, the group's treasurer, said earlier this week.

The report filed with the Federal Elections Commission yesterday detailed 683 contributions totaling just over $1.9 million, none of them less than $100. Federal law requires organizations such as the veterans group to show how they've paid for advertising within 24 hours of the ads' airing on television.

To minimize paperwork on this particular report, FEC does not require reporting amounts under $200 (unless such amount would raise the donor's total donations above $200).

I emailed Mr. Tinfield this information and politely suggested he contact Mr. Russell, Mr. Symmes or the FEC for more information.

Kill 'em with kindness, I say. They delete the angry ranting emails anyway.
