Rep. Cox's email form is here: http://cox.house.gov/html/contact_email.cfm

I just dropped him a note to say thank you. I've been sending out so many negative emails lately it seemed appropriate to send some positive feedback when they get something right.

Just sent this to him:

Thanks for going to bat for those of us who are weary of the kind of games that CBS has been playing.

Their refusal to admit that these documents are forgeries is not only indicative of their stubborn political slant, but in my opinion, criminal. There is absolutely NO WAY a rational adult could now believe that these documents are legitimate and there is NO WAY an objective EXPERT could have given them a clean pedigree in the first place.

This is fraud. This is crying 'Fire!' in a movie theater kind of speech.

Thanks.

I also wrote and thanked him. Said that I always thought that forgery was a crime, and that this was especially bad since it was "wrapped" in what should be credible reporting.

Thanks for the link. I sent my message to him, and he also earned two more votes if/when he runs for re-election...

I sent him a thank you note and then called my Congresswoman's office and left a message that I would like for her to support Rep. Cox's call for a probe into this CBS fraud.

I am now going to call my Senators' offices and see if they will sponsor or at least support a similar request in the Senate.

On things like this, it's always good to call your OWN reps in Congress and voice your support. If you're polite and to-the-point, you will be heard, even if your message just turns into a tick-mark on a tally-sheet. Smile
