I have been soooo happy the last few days believing that Bush is ahead and that Kerry was imploding. Than today on CNN AND on Fox, the democrate stated that Kerry is leading, and Ed Gillispi (sp?) was sitting right there and didn't say anything. Does anyone know?

A Harris Poll has Kerry in the lead . all other polls have Bush ahead 4-9 points.

President Bush is ahead by a significant margin. That will be confirmed by a new Gallup poll coming out shortly. The Harris poll is garbage. It is a (self-selected) interactive poll that doesn't even screen registered voters much less likely ones.

No poll matters, the only thing that matters is the vote on Nov. 2nd.

If you do not want Kerry elected POTUS/CIC (shudder) then you must do everything you can between now and Nov. 2nd. Donate money to the SwiftVets and to the Bush campaign. Also, donate your time to your local GOP organization to help with getting out the vote. Work on voters phone banks. Help buy and put signs out. Write letters to the editor. E-mail everyone you know.

If you can't donate money, donate time. Continue to work as hard as you can to keep Kerry from being elected. Do silly things. You don't have to do any pro-Bush work --- just do work in getting out the word on Kerry's history, his character.

Don't rely on polls --- positive ones make you complacent and negatives ones make you depressed.

Forget the polls. Work as hard at defeating Kerry as those fire fighters worked on 9-11 to save lives. You are saving lives --- the life of America and every American from the likes of John Kerry.

Here ya go:

http://pollingreport.com/wh2004.htm

Bush has led every major poll in the month of September.

Here are a couple of sites that look at the state to state electoral count:

Hope that helps.

Here is one thing to keep in mind about the Harris Poll:

Quote:
These are some of the results of a nationwide poll of 1,018 U.S. adults surveyed by telephone by Harris InteractiveŽ between September 9 and 13, 2004.

They are surveying whatever moron answers the phone. Not registered voters let alone LIKELY VOTERS.

This is a survey of a disproportionately uneducated and unconnected segment of the population.

Terry Mcauliffe ripped Ed Guillespie on that, insisted it was "Likely Voters" not "Adult Voter". He was extremely insulting and stated that it he knew it was difficult for Republicans to spell "Likely".
What was telling to me was the difference in attitudes between the two, McCauliffe was insulting, confrontational, arrogant and Guillespie sat there calmly and without responding to the insulting bait thrown at him made his case.

Terry should know all about adult voters, he's a big fan of registering all the adults he can, as many times as he can.

After all, aren't they the ones that are bussed down to the polls, told who to vote for, and get to collect their free cigarettes & walking around money afterwards? Not to mention adult voters in places like Chicago where just because you're dead dosen't mean you can't still vote.

I am from Illinios, And I am excited to see Bush down by only 4 points in Illinios? Illinios has not gone republican since Regean and now Bush is in the margin of error amazing!! We Republicans here have to vote more out of ethical stand and protest because we know King Daley will stuff enough ballots in the box or have enough dead people vote to turn the state Dem

I used to be from Chicago and I can remember the looooong wait for those "Dirkson" counties in the south to be counted. (Of course only to be offset by the "River wards" in the Windy City.) (They had to wait for the Dirkson votes to come in so they would know how many paper ballots to print up to win, like for Kennedy) Those were the days. NOT Twisted Evil

Not even Dickey Daly will be able to offset this upcoming Bush landslide. Laughing
