They say she didn't know anything, and that they hung out with Bush! And that she was a fairly biased Democrat even back in 1972!

Just like I thought. But now, no matter she is debunked, the Left will be able to point to her interview and poke Bush in the eye. That's the whole point. The Left are like Lilliputions with tiny ropes and dinky swords doing what they can to tie the big giants down.

It's amazing that the Washington Post doesn't even pay attention to Col Bill Campenni (USAF, Ret.) or reference him given that he has written an article for them about President Bush's service. Well, I guess not so amazing, since they don't pay attention to Charles Krauthammer, and he also writes for them.

**Update: On the above site, a purported squadron mate of Bush says Mrs. Knox' son Ted joined their unit around 1972

If you have the trackback link please send it to Drudge! If this is true it's the height of hypocrisy on Mrs. Knox's part.

I ordered Bush to take his physical, before I ordered him not to take it...er I mean I ordered bush not to take his exam, before I ordered him to take it. Are you getting this all right honey? Type this up on the new secrete Alien typewriter from the future and take it down to Kinko's for copies...

Only a dork like JFK would bother to show up for a flight physical after he got permission to go out of state to school where there wouldn't be any of the obsolete planes he was never going to fly again anyway.

Two quick points about the order to take the flight physical:

1) MEMORANDA or MEMOs are never used to order personnel to take a bath let alone a flight physical. The 4 May 1972 Memo is totally bogus.

2) Annual flight physicals are at the direction of a medical facility where the notification to report for a physical is initiated, usually a month or so prior to the pilot's birthday.

This whole effort to slam Bush for disobeying a direct order is being ramrodded by a bunch of desperate airheads, backing a loser who starts working at IHOP in January '05.
