Someone mentioned a Travis County (Austin, Texas) connection to the forged memos. I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else but here.
So........is there or not?

The connection, I believe, is through that Burkett fellow and his lawyer who is active in the Travis Country Democratic Party. Rather's daughter is a grand po-bah in that same organization and Rather spoke before the TCDP for a fundraiser. Rather claimed he "didn't know" it was a fundraiser until he got to Austin. Yeah, and the Pope is a Father! Evil or Very Mad

Travis County (Austin) is home to U.T. and about the most liberal county in Texas. We REAL Texans call it Moscow on the Colorado.

Would you like to know how liberal Travis County is? Even the Republicans can't help but act like the Democrats. If you can't beat them join them. Oh yes and don't get me started on the UT topic. Twisted Evil

Remember, using the "See BS" rules, it doesn't matter whether the support evidence is forged as long as the "message" is valid. Of course, it was just the opposite when Senate Democrat memos discussing blocking a judicial appointment that would impact an affirmative action case in Michigan got into the hands of Republican staffers. The "message" was disregarded, and the staffers were hung out to dry, even though the memos were easily accessible to anyone using the computers.
