Would somebody who KNOWS the timeline advise if Kerry's FIRST meeting with the DRV & VC folks in Paris preceeded the Detroit winter soldier and most VVAW activities? (If so, seems the case could be made he was a willing agent for the DRV/VC here in the US.)
How did he get that audience? Ramsey Clark?

As far as I am concerned Kerry is committing treason right now by undermining our troops in Iraq. He debases Bush's efforts every time he gets a chance. This can not be helping the morale of the troops. And it is scaring the Iraqis. He is now giving aid and support to the terrorists by his very words.

He will pull out if he becomes CIC. He is the same old Kerry. Hasn't changed one bit.

Then what, if he pulls the troops out, will he conduct Senate hearings on war crimes committed by our troops. This man is completely distrutful.

In his speech in New York all he did was undermine Bush and then presented a 4 point plan that Bush already has in place.

Adam, I liked your dissertation.
Gullible? No, treacherous. Yes. A coward. Yes
Kerry is a Communist at heart. His VVAW group had plenty of Communist affiliations.

The Kerry campaign and their media supporters are saying he testified to Congress about meeting with the VC/NVA so that makes it okay.

I've told you guys before, Don't get overconfident.
It ain't over 'til it's over.
That slime Kerry could always pull some stunt at the last minute that wows them.
We have to keep up the pressure.
Just remember. Kerry is a jerk. Kerry is a slime. Kerry is a habitual liar.
Kerry is lower than snail droppings.
Keep up the pressure.

The critical harpoon of this ad is the fact that it paints Kerry as a treasonous war protester. At a time of war can we afford a leader like this? What would the American people be saying by electing this man.
The election of Hannoi K would be a slap in the face to our troops.
Kerry now on Iraq has come full circle, he is most effective as a coolaid commie spewwing anti-war hate ! His campain advisers are a idot convention. What in the heck must they be thinking, gee the swiftys are painting Kerry as unfit for command so let turn Hannoi K loose as a reincarnation of Howard Dean. My conclusion is that he knows he will loose
and is throwing bucketfulls of red meat to the base so the house and senate don't burn with him.
Thanks, Scott Mathieu son of SS Forest Sherman vet Allen Mathieu now at rest

Fantastic!!! Your post is being forwarded to everyone in my book. Very articulate and full of "more" frightening facts about John Kerry. If I had not grown to loath, distrust and generally think Kerry was laughable after reading "Tour of Duty", you certainly would have convinced me. John Kerry's own words, as you point out, only make him appear more of a fool. Or worse a self serving, manipulator who uses basic human fears as a tool to further himself, financially and politically. That's scary!! There are enough "fools" in this country buying into his, once again, "anti-war retoric". NO ONE WANTS WAR....BUT, some of us realize that freedom for ALL PEOPLE is worth fighting for. I thank God George W. Bush was in the White House on September 11 and not a weak minded, gutless pacifist like John Kerry. We'd still be negotiating, and debating, while fighting the fires of further attacks here at home.

This American family will not rest until John Kerry is faced with complete surrender to the TRUTH and must beg for forgiveness from the veterans he dishonored and the country he has betrayed!

SURRENDER JOHN YOUR GOOD AT THAT!!!!

Here is the nuke torpedo ... one more ad.

"It would be like an American today meeting with the heads of al Qaeda." Team Kerry better have a good defense to refute that talking point, because if that one sentence comparison breaks through the media static and gets into voter's heads, Kerry will make Walter Mondale look like Bill Clinton.

Mark...
Kerry, meeting the enemy, was May-June 1970.
Dewey Canyon 3, J William Fulbright committee, etc, was later.

Does anyone know Kerry's active duty dates?

Was he still on active duty in May-June 1970?

I got to CosDiv13 Cat Lo in March 1970. Kerry was long gone by then. He left VN in the Spring of 1969.

The good news is that if the prospect of a Kerry presidency is scarring the Iraqis, maybe they will try to help us flush out the foreign terrorists and act passionately to make their country a success.

As for the timeline business I can tell you all this as reported in December 22, 1971.

His third Purple Heart qualified Kerry to come home, although he was offered a job as an admiral's aide to stay. "I decided," he says, "to return and tell the people the real story. My sister Peggy was very much involved in the antiwar movement then. Two weeks after I was back, I made a speech before the Rotary Club in Groton, Massachusetts, where my father lived, and I really let them have it. But I knew there'd be ostracism and censorship. I was still in the navy as an admiral's aide in New York.

He goes on about his friend Lt. Droz getting killed.

Next paragraph:

"So I got involved in a Moratorium. I have a private pilot's license and flew on e of hte speakers around the New York area. Next day, I drafted a letter to the admiral requesting permission to resign and run for Congress"

Hey KMudd,

alot of the info you seek concerning Kerry and his "discussions" with the VC and NVA negoiators can be found via FBI documents written at that time. Several of these reports are found here:
