Given how much Brinkley knows about Kerry from his Journals, etc., this is a terrific Freudian slip. ToD is a case study in narcissism and opportunism. Brinkley must have realized he was dealing with someone with the same pyschological make up as Clinton.
We need to keep going until Kerry implodes under the pressure. Remember Clinton did Lewinsky while under the pressure of all the other scandals. With these kind of power freaks, they literally cannot help themselves. In Kerry's case it will be flights of grandiosity, e.g., I can get the French to send us money and troops for Iraq!! Kerry actually believes this, which makes him naive and dangerous.
