Apparently, BOR 'debunked' the Swift Vet's by
having his staff spend nearly three weeks "researching"
the issue. Then Chris Wallace asserted on BOR's show
'there was no documentary evidence' to support
the Swifties. Naturally, there can't be any SPIN
here...it's the no SPIN zone, and the fact that
BOR is a Harvard educated journalist who is
never, ever wrong, and irrespective the facts...starting to rant
now...UGGH! Embarassed

Come on, Al Franken is better (more fair) than O'Reilly. Well, from the Angry Left' perspective. Let's be realistic. O'Reilly is not Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity. I do think he is sort of leaning toward Kerry. But he also gives Bush a fair shake except when he keeps repeating the same mantra: Iraq mess. On SBVT, his position--which is leaning toward Kerry-- tells the whole story.

Presentation is often as important as the point being made. As eXcel pointed out, negative body language, frowning, etc., SPIN the story and control audience reaction even when BORe doesn't just come right out and say it. He truly has turned his show into the "No Spine" zone.

My e-mail to BOR

Quote:
You say your research showed that some of the Swift Boat Veterans statements were false. Could you rerun the interview with Mr. O’Neil? I obviously missed the part where in your effort to be fair and balanced you confronted him with those alleged falsehoods!

Well, I have finally had it with O"Reilly. I just sent him the following email as I was resetting the timer on my PVR.

Mr. O'Reilly,
You said you were done with with Swiftvets because they made it personal. Of course it is personal! They know first hand the manner of the man. For the rest of us, we are just thankful they have given voice to our "personal" feeling that John Kerry is unfit to be commander in chief. Each one of us has a story. Your lack of understanding toward those of us that support the SwiftVets is indefensible. As to your assertions that you investigated their allegations, you hardly scratched the surface. I feel certain that is of little concern to you. You will never have the respect of this community. It is your loss.
Respectfully,

Great Post Maggie. But I am just not watching nor listening to BOR at ALL! He is a man who says he still does not know who he is voting for - it truly is scary that it takes someone that much time to decide. Look at the men's character. You have one who stand fast in what he hold firms, you have one who will flip then flop then flip then flipflop! Unbelievable that this guy is even IN the race...my personnel preference. He should be sitting in a jail time serving for treason!

Yes, that would be fair. As an alternative sentence, he could be ordered to serve as a butler for all of the swiftvets. He does have that "Jeeves" air about him.

once more, he is "visaual flight referance only cetified" and he

came into the "cloud of truth" of the Swiftboatvets for truth" and

not having expericnce with "clouds of truth" he pulled up on the

yoke on his "plane" and now he "spins in" in his goofy, simple minded

little "my spin only" zone, just watch the way he "spins" the calls he

takes, we need to get a "informant" in his back room. Some under

paid person who he has "snubed" will be the one to "uncover" him

in his little "spider hole"

BOR just does not want to appear "biased" one way or the other, and I believe he intentionally wanted not to appear surprised, pleased, or displeased at the substance of any of the President's answers regarding the swiftees. I tend to agree, because if he begins to appear too partisan, one way or the other, he will lose much of the audience that we all wish to influence.

BOR "Stand for something or you will fall for anything" I know that it is a country music lyric I just can't place the song or the artist, but whenever I see BOR the line just keeps playing in my head. Someone please help me out give me the artist name and song.

I saw that segment and don't understand how BOR can torch the "Torch" for torching the CIA, and then give him generous air time. The "Torch" lost ALL respectability and credibility following his campaign shenanigans, was unceremoniously ousted by the Democrat Party and seemed to fade into the heavily Democrat and highly corrupt New Jersey political scene. Now comes the BOR who inexplicably provides him access to 50-100 million viewers and ample opportunity to regain respectability and restart his corrupt career. Sweet Mother of God, how can it be?
