In the early part of the debate, it was my understanding that sKerry referred to "second class or second grade troops" that fought in Tora Bora, Afganistan. Further, that we outsourced that action to the Afganis.

If my memory serves me, it seems we sent in many bombs, i.e. the bunker busters, a great deal of air support and I seem to remember that the 101st infantry or similar troops supporting that action.

Maybe they didn't pass the "Global Test".

I do not have a transcript at this time to rely on. What was he saying? Or am I asking too much.

Nobody "won"....there were no "KO's"

But take heart.

No one will remember a damn thing Kerry said, the media will still be parsing his gobbledygook on Iraq...and now we have "global test"

The Swiftvets will have new grist for the mill:
"...condemn the war, not the warrior"...
Yes, Mr. Kerry uttered those words: NEW SWIFTBOAT AD!!!!

Meanwhile, Mr. Consistency stayed consistent.

Bush wins in November. This debate will be forgotten in less than a week.

msnbc is biased. I do not believe that 69% believe the troll won the debate to Bush at 39%. aol poll had them at 50/50 last time I checked.
Is America brain dead or are we just from another planet? I can't believe these polls. Sick. Evil or Very Mad

Winning the debate is one thing, winning the presidency is another...I wouldn't ask Kamikase for the right time...Kamikase has a long way to go yet...In the back of everyone's mind is the same question...Can we trust him??? He's known as a liar, and it is easy to say what he said, in the debate...but who believes him??? Many of his ideas are not acceptable, and many are being implicated by the Bush Administration already...He's playing the scare card on a lot of his suggestions...Draft. etc...Bush can not implement the draft...Congress has too, do that (if it's necessary) Then Bush either signs it or veto's it...
He (kerry)always tries to divert the attention from Iraq, as far as terror is concerned...He forgets that the Gulf war was a cease fire..There were sanctions, in place, that were not being implicated by Saddam... He also was firing at our planes in the no fly zone... kerry and the UN are history in my book...Neither one is worth while..
About N.Korea and Iran:
Bush was getting progressive with Iran, months before 9/11...He was starting to lay the ground work...Cut off Iran's oil export, and their economy falls apart in a month...
N.Korea doesn't dare drop the bomb, anywhere...They will pay heavily in a very short period of time, and they know it...Their economy is also suffering...
I'll stick with Bush...I know what I've got...( I sleep good at night) Cool
With kerry I don't Know what I have.. Shocked

God bless our Troops !!

The dems are probably voting more than once. Easy to do if you use more than one browser.

No one delivered a knock out punch. No blood drawn. Kerry had a slight edge on delivery; however, everyone knows (even conservatives admit this) that Bush is not always that articulate in these venues. Nothing new here. Bush did well on substance (Kerry had so many facts wrong; it was hard to keep count). As someone posted earlier: no one will remember this debate in the long run. The only recommendation I would give Bush: work on your "podium presence." (don't lean over, stand back a little more, stand tall, etc.).

One more thing. The Bush campaign has a lot of material they can use against Kerry coming out of this debate (i.e., globalism--Kerry relying on global permission before he acts).

Cool Medics, we're there when you need us.

What's the American Indian saying "Man speaks with fork tongue" I think that fits Kerry very good.
Another saying "Actions speaks louder than words". What was the President doing yesterday. Meeting the people of Florida who are have a tough time. What was Kerry doing. Getting a MANICURE and toning down his previous Spray on TAN. That tells you alot about a person and if the people of this country don't see that then they deserve 4 years of Kerry. If this country is so built on how you look and the way you say things and not what you really stand for then we are in big trouble.

The big difference in the debate was :

1. BUSH-spent 10 hours working in the florida heat and humidity visiting disaster areas.
2. Kerry - slept till noon, got a manicure, got the orange goop removed from his face, took a nap, and was very well rested for the debate.

But forget what the messenger acted like, LOOK AT THE MESSAGE!

BIG difference= KERRY IS A FAKE!
