If I remember correctly, most people keep a pen in their left suit coat pocket. After viewing this many times, I am positive he took out a piece of paper, and then looked down and unfolded it at the same time.

President Bush clearly beat the traitorous, cheating diphead.

Soneone need to get a copy of the film to proof that traitor Kerry cheated.

This will blow the election wild open, we need the evidence.

May God help America on this deal.

Ewwwwwwwww these people are so arrogant!!!

When pressed on the fact that even brandishing a pen from his jacket would have violated debate rules, the Kerry staffer laughed, adding, "see you at the inauguration, Drudge".

As usual they are not addressing the issue which says GUILTY AS CHARGED!

Held my opinion until I saw the video.

Without a doubt, he broke one of the rules the two parties agreed to.

I mainly lurk around many forums but this prompted me to register;

C'mon! This is as bad as the left claiming Bush was wiretapped for the debate. This only makes the right look desperate and it will backfire, just like the wiretap theory will backfire on the left. Everyone is going to lose from claims like these.

Sorry, but true Americans have had enough of the arrogance of the left.

I'm a moderate. And the whole "true Americans" thing is what is hurting the center's views on Bush, it was working at first, but the more people say it the more it starts to not mean anything, and now; it doesn't mean anything. I'll listen to both sides, I don't pick sides for any reason. But I'll call people on bs. This. Is bs.

If anyone has Cox Digital Cable, you can watch the debate on their VOD service for free. I think it is channel 998. Digital Zoom has pretty impressive close up and freeze frame, pause, etc.

If they are willing to cheat during a debate, God help us on Election Day.

They did try in 2000, and already are trying and planning to this year.

Well from someone not on the "Right", I find it disturbing that Kerry in violation of the "Rules" brought something out of his pocket. Whatever it was it was against the Rules set out for the debate. It shows a lack of respect on his part period. This is not something being cooked up by the "Right", this is something Kerry did on his own, some astute and observant people observed it. The film does not lie, this is not some forged document.
Have anymore Kerry Talking Points to share? You may want to think about not sharing them here. Just a friendly word of advice.

I didn't give any Kerry talking points buddy. I'm just saying this is ridiculous. And just as ridiculous as the claim that Bush was wiretapped for the debate. They are BOTH ridiculous. Someone also claimed that Bush's expressions were because he knew Kerry was cheating. I think Bush would have called him out on it, if not, after the debate. We lost this one, but trying to force something that happened already become undone is not the solution. The solution is to win the next two debates.

I'm trying to listen to your point. Are you saying:

A) You looked at the video and don't see him taking anything out of his pocket?

B) You looked at the video and see him taking something out of his pocket but what does it matter, rules are meant to be broken? (Maybe it was a picture of the White House Interns to motivate him, Lord knows seeing Teresa in the audience wouldn't do it.)

C) You didn't look at the video and don't care.

D) None of the Above.

Kerry is not a true American. He is a traitor, and should be relegated to a man without a country status. So, what did he take to the debate? Kleenex, hankie? I don't think one has to look down to unfold a kleenex or hankie.

Congratulations Endaar:) You made it to the big time...DRUDGE:)

Not sure exactly how much I did, but thanks. Glad this is at least getting a little publicity now.

Incidentally, if you have Video on Demand on your digital cable service, you may have the debate available to you. Cablevision IO has it, and apparently Cox does as well.

While I can't speak for others, this issue isn't a bother to me just because Kerry did better than I expected.

His campaign could stop the whole thing right now by just saying what he did. If he pulled out a pen, then fine. Just say so and say "oops, I'm sorry" instead of blaming the controversy on the RNC.

It'll be interesting how this plays out.
