I have a feeling this picture was reversed in photoshop (similar to the picture of Tom Daschle putting the wrong hand over his heart). However, even if it was just a reversed picture, Kerry still can't salute. His wrist is limp and his fingers have gaps. Definitely not a sharp salute.

This wasn't reversed in Photoshop or other program. I downloaded it and flipped it horizontally, and what is clear when you do that is then you see the part of his hair would be on the wrong side. So the picture as posted shows a left-handed salute alongside where he always parts his hair.

This guy's a full-fledged Goof.
