I remember solitary patrols in An Toi, Being so far up some canal we was scrapeing bottom and rubbing up against the trees. I also was on some two and three boat patrols, and even larger ones. My post was to reply to the comment that we never operated alone, We did, in An Toi and Danang, By the way, the end of 68, begining of 69 found Coastal Division 12 entering more and more of the Rivers in the OP area. That was my experience.

And when I made my comment I wasn't even thinking about Danang. Of course I wouldn't have a clue as to what went on up there.

I must say I am surprised to hear you went out alone out of An Thoi -- not saying you didn't, I'm just surprised.
