I have someone looking for the exceprt from John Kerry's book re: using the un to send forces, etc. (global test rule) from back in 71. does anyone know which kerry book he said that in and where to find the transcript? Know one of his books was on here in pdf form awhile back. Your ehlp would be greatly appreciated! Have someone I'm trying to convert on another site waiting.

It apparently was not in a book, but in a 1970 interview
with the Harvard campus newspaper, The Crimson.
They reprised his quote in a 2004-02-11 article, linked
below (assuming this is the quote you seek):

“I’m an internationalist,” Kerry told The Crimson in 1970.
“I’d like to see our troops dispersed through the world
only at the directive of the United Nations.”

thanks all - unfortunately they are saying the report from the crimson could be biased - go figure - someone else saw it in one of his books, they thought and figured you guys might know which one.
