Kerry wants "equal time?" My God, the entire MSM is in the tank for him.

This documentary scares the hell out of Kerry for only one reason: it is true. The public senses it, too.

If we've ever had a recent case of "Thou doth protesteth too much" this has got to be it (John Kerry.) The man has no shame and no sense of personal honor or duty. OK, he went to Vietnam (bet you didn't know that... Mad ) But what did he do there (taking that darn movie camera with him - how many people did that I wonder?) and the whole litany with his alleged medals and self authored after action reports (now we know for certain - thanks Navy Chief!). Then his shameless and damning first flip flop as he slickly moved into leadership in VVAW and embellished and lied before the Senate. Then his treasonous actions in Paris. He's a self aggrandizer and opportunist of the lowest order...I really wish we didn't have to deal with him at the national scene (as all the Swifties have said over and over - if he weren't running for president none of their efforts would be necessary...) In my mind, the once proud Democrat party has sunk to new lows with this campaign of cover up and political expediency...the Repubs are no saints - but at least you know where they stand on the vital issues of the day...and on the vital issues of life - like serving one's country and honoring fellow soldiers who've given the greatest sacrifice. "No greater love has a man than this, than he lay his life down for his friends." In the Gospels...

Just for the record, I sent my support e-mails.
Here's what I sent:

I stand in support of the Swiftvets and POWs for Truth and am writing to you in support of your brave and noble stand to air the documentary "Stolen Honor". By doing so you honor those veterans who served their country and suffered not only at the hands of their captors, but from the rebuke of their own brothers who returned from the battle fields to protest and speak publicly against them and their leaders.

It is time at last that the former POWs be heard and the nation learns the truth about John Kerry's treasonous anti-war activities. I believe the people are ready to accept this story and will be grateful and appalled to learn what really happened and who John Kerry really is. It is only fair in that he has presented himself to the people as a decorated War Hero worthy of the position of Commander in Chief of the United States of America.

I just watched a Fox News interview with your spokesperson getting appluase for his answers followed by the Kerry campaign spokesperson responding and being booed. You are in the right and I encourage you to stay the course.

I will do whatever is necessary to support you and I will pray for you.

Included signature and phone numbers

I'll e-mail my buddy list this evening and ask them to support this effort.

I support what Sinclair Broadcasting is doing. To whom should I send e-mails in support of these efforts? Does anybody have some e-mail addresses for me?

Thanks.

Ok, I talk too much, but here it is:

Dear Sinclair Broadcasting:

I completely support you exercising the First Amendment rights of the Vietnam Vets and Sinclair Broadcasting. There is no doubt that I wish to hear what they have to say.

Since I know that you are very busy, I am going to make several succinct points:

1. John Kerry should accept your invitation, but if he doesn't then you should air the program without him. A surrogate may be acceptable, but just keep in mind that the surrogate will probably not address anything of substance by saying that "only John Kerry can answer that" and then the surrogate will blame George Bush for everything under the sun. You might consider a panel at that point, to include John O'Neill. Remember, John O'Neill is not necessarily a "Bush supporter" so if it is equal time for both sides, you may want to include a Bush representative to allow Bush to defend his position. Mr. O'Neill won't necessarily do that, so to be fair to President Bush, you should also include a "Bush representative."

2. I heard the DNC representative on Linda Vester today threaten Sinclair Broadcasting. Let me make this clear: Regardless of whether or not you show Stolen Honor, if Kerry gets elected, they will come after you ANYWAY!! So you might as well show show Stolen Honor! You might as well do all you can to keep John Kerry from getting elected and showing that video will sure help in that goal.

3. You are getting GREAT marketing for this video by the way the DNC HAS ATTACKED YOU! This will also help get the message out for those veterans and increases your publicity and potential viewers. Although I know that the "business" side of viewing this video is not the prime reason for the decision to show the video, those threats by the DNC have the added benefit of being a great marketing tool!

4. All of the blogs and forums that I have been able to review today are so PROUD of the way Mark (sorry I forget his last name) handled himself and are proud that Sinclair is going to stand its ground.

5. I know that Mark had already said Sinclair will stand its ground. Remember it is the soldier who has always protected our rights and the Constitution. They deserve for us to once take a stand for veterans. Many people will be very upset if Sinclair should back down.

6. Despite the onslaught of email you may get against the showing, remember that the DNC has put out mass emails to democrats (mostly union members) to email your company. Most people, who I am sure support the showing of Stolen Honor, are at work; they don't have the ability due to job and other responsibilities to take the time to personally contact your company to express their support of the showing of the video. Union members on the other hand are ordered to contact you to express disdain for the showing of the video!

7. I am personally quite aware of John Kerry's activities during the Vietnam era, but most Americans are not aware. Why is that? Because the main stream media has not aired (but only in the most scant and dismissive way) anything regarding John Kerry's activities during the Vietnam era. You will be doing the public a great educational service by airing this video. Not to mention, since no other main stream media outlet has aired the video, it is also "news" because it is "new."

8. CBS felt it OK to air an entire hour basing an entire "news" story about George Bush's guard service for the umpteenth time based totally on forged documents. The DNC didn't utter so much as a peep decrying that. Not to mention, the public has only been hearing about George Bush's service for years! Then there is ABC Mark Halprin's memo telling the staff to cover each campaign under different levels of scrutiny, the Republicans getting the more serious scrutiny.

Broadcasting Stolen Honor is a wonderful present Sinclair Broadcasting could provide to our veterans who have put their life on the line to protect our freedoms and who were so wrongly slandered. It is also a wonderful present to America, who will have her veterans and military finally vindicated.

America and I are so proud of Sinclair Broadcasting.

Please show Stolen Honor. It deserves to be shown.

{signed name in original}

I typed it very fast, so I hope no bloopers are in it.

Very Happy

Sinclair has offered Kerry time during the broadcast of "Stolen Honor" to defend his actions.

Kerry so far has declined.

This is from the guy who keeps telling us that he will "make the tough decisions" or "make the hard choices."

A person with a backbone would defend his past behavior.

If Kerry cannot stand up to our POW war heros', how can he stand up the terrorists, the unions, the trial lawyers, etc?

Kerry's personal motto, as seen in his past 30 years, is

Runaway, runaway

As a side note, I've met Col George "Bud" Day, a former POW and Medal of Honor winner and have an autographed copy of his book, "Return with Honor".

That man is the salt of the earth.

I met Colonel Day, too. It was in Fresno in 1994 at a Legion of Valor Reunion.

He is one of the most awe-inspiring human beings I ever met.

Here's mine:

Subject: George Soros is mad at you...

Dear Mr. Hyman,

I congratulate you on your courage and fairness in your decision to buck the leftist media cabal's coverage of the true record of Senator Kerry with your broadcast of Stolen Honor. As I'm sure you considered, this is a MAJOR story, with facts instead of propaganda, with John Kerry's own words and actions instead of fake ANG documents, and with thousands of eye-witnesses. Stolen Honor details the betrayal - and there is no other word for it - of American soldiers in wartime by a man who is now running to be Commander in Chief and President of the United States during wartime. How can this NOT be in every newspaper and on every television in America?

The DNC and George Soro's 167 mil. dollar shadow party of MoveOn, ACT, etc. are very mad at you, and will try to stop you by any means. Count on getting floods of form-emails, an avalanche of telephone vitriol, letters, petitions, public denunciations, pickets, computer hacks, and even possible threats and violence against you and your employees, including your affiliates. Please be careful, today's Democratic Party is a dangerous organization. Expect the full rage and excoriating power of the CBS/ABC/NBC, NYT, CNN, WaPo, LAT, BGL, and even foreign media outlets such as the BBC and The Guardian. Please stand fast and know that millions of current and former military, their families and friends, their employers and peers - in my estimation at least 80 million voters support your resolve and balance. Including this one, a 41-year-old son of a proud two-tour Vietnam Vet who never committed any atrocities and has hard-earned medals. I very much admire your judgement and public service sir.

Many might say that 35-year-old actions and words are not reflective of the integrity, honor, courage, and honesty of the current man. In some ways I might agree, people can change; they can regret and atone for past betrayals and lies, although treason is not forgiven by me personally. But the United States today is indeed at war again, and anyone familiar with the Senator's actions after his return from Vietnam (and before, for that matter - the Swift Boat Vets have once again done an enormous public service there) will see Kerry's pattern repeating with Iraq. The standard Kerry line of 'We support our troops, BUT..." is a mirror image of his tactics during the Vietnam War and the public ought to see that. John Kerry learned long ago that divided Americans can be exploited for his personal political gain, and once again the soldiers in the field are dying for it.

If Michael Moore's propaganda piece of Fahrenheit 9/11 can be embraced by the leftist media, the DNC, and Democratic politicians and shown in schools, even after over 50 assertions have been documented as lies, then Stolen Honor is well above the 'documentary' line and in fact NEWS. NONE of this movie can be denied, it is based upon John Kerry's own words and actions. Just as NONE of the claims in the Swifties' "Unfit for Command" have been disproved. Your legal position is sound gentlemen, pay no attention to the foaming threats of the DNC Legal Jihad.

Mr. Kerry has never apologized for his lies, or even acknowledged their consequences:

Millions of American soldiers falsely accused and stigmatized for life, their 'honor stolen'.
Millions of Southeast Asians executed by North Vietnamese Communists despite Mr. Kerry's assurances that it would be otherwise after American withdrawal.
Adding additional misery upon the backs of POWs in the Hanoi Hilton.
Encouraging the NVA to fight on after they were soundly defeated.
Giving our enemies their weapon of choice against us, used to this day to great effect - divide the country until Americans lose their will.

Many Americans, especially younger people, don't understand Senator Kerry's role in America's only military loss in this century. Unlike the Old Media, you and Sinclair obviously agree that electing a President for America while at war requires a balanced and true accounting of the records of all candidates, especially any other wartime experience, and most especially if that war experience is the candidate's self-professed prima facia evidence of his ability to lead our country during wartime. If there is a better barometer for a man's character, judgement, integrity, and honesty than his own record, I don't know what it is and Americans have a right know if their President can be trusted.

John Kerry and the DNC, aided and abetted by the Old Media liars like Rather, Brokaw, Halperin and everyone at the New York Times have tried to pull a fast one on the American electorate during a wartime election. Thank you for standing up to them, and for me.
