Larry Elder played this on his show today and commented that Kerry was running for the wrong office. Instead of running for President, he should be running for God

When I heard the replay, I was waiting for the "Hallelujah, brother" at the end. 
The Kerrys could easily set up a memorial fund for CR for stem cell research. They could get Teddy to chip in as well.
I would rather fund cancer research (that killed my father) than stem-cell research. By using tax money to fund stem cell research the government is choosing for me what I fund..... |

I, too, wonder why it is never mentioned that the hated pharmaceutical companies can do whatever they want in terms of this research. It is only a restriction on federal funding.
If it is so "promising" they would be all over it in anticipation of huge future profits.
The truth is, they are waiting for someone like Kerry to pay for the basic research with taxes, so they don't have to foot the bill.
Isn't that a form of "corporate welfare" Mr. Kerry? Mr. Edwards, your response?
