I think Kerry could have easily gotten around any questions regarding his discharge. After all, he has Kennedy has his mentor. Kennedy would have seen to fixing things.
I also don't think this would have been an issue in light of the atmosphere during the 70's. The group think at the time was the war was wrong.
I agree smoke and mirrors.

Joel Ard casts doubt on the story about Kerry’s possible not-so-honorable discharge--The problem with this theory is that he couldn’t have gotten the discharge recharacterized until the Carter presidency, February 1978 according to the article, and he was already a county prosecutor by then.

Perhaps there’s another big story out there regarding fraud and/or strings pulled that allowed Kerry to hold the county prosecutor position with a less than honorable discharge?

Hannity's email address:

hannity@foxnews.com

I had trouble with it this morning, but it's working now. Probably was full earlier from all our emails to him Wink

Just an FYI, but Rush is having a stand-in today--He mentioned at the end of his show yesterday something about a committment to some charity he's affiliated with--

Will be back tomorrow--C

About a month ago, the standby on Rush had Thomas Lipscomb on the show talking about information he was coming up with. So, the standby, if the same one, may go after the Kerry discarge story.

mr_mechanical: Drudge hasn't covered any of the hot stories lately. I wrote him an E-mail charging him with selling out and buying the MSM stance. I don't have a reply yet. Very Happy

P.S. One of the big ones he ignored was the story on the new MWD and Saddam/terrorist documents.

Good question, he never carried anything on the CNS docs either, heard other complaints, where is the thing about Kerry's fundraiser in bed with Iran press conf. on this Thursday. I am concerned, to stay on the cutting edge one must be willing to cut.

Drudge never mentioned the Chicago Sun Times article by Lipscomb about Kerry's second Purple Heart either. Makes me think Drudge has no intrest in the SBVFT story at all.
Hannity, Limbaugh, Brit Hume, and Major Garrett have been the real heavy lifters in the media on this. If not for them the story would never have made it to the MSM.

Drudge may be waiting until after the debates to post the story, so that it doesn't get "watered down" by all the coverage for the debates. He may also be checking out the facts. Don't rush to conclusions. These people have been around the block and they know how to operate. Have faith Surprised

My gut feeling is everyone is sitting back watching how this plays out in the new media (internet) first to see what develops.

I don't think anyone wants to be the first to run with the story until they get an idea of how it gets spun by the left and how the public reacts to it.

If it comes across like a hit piece that can be spun by the left it could back fire and drive voters to Kerry in protest of the right wing attack machine.
