Remember that a lot of these people that are over the age of 50 and supporting John F. Kerry are the same people that for the most part supported the anti-war movement in the 60's and 70's, and have been teaching our children, and our children's children this last 35 years or so. They have installed the same pacifist, appeasement, cowardly mindset that they had as youths, in our children and our children's children. These people are the majority of the teachers, and college professors at all the nations schools and universities/colleges.
To some, they are reliving their youth when their anti-war movement support brought down the mighty US Military and Government, and forced them to sue for peace, and run like scolded dogs with their tails between their legs from South Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand. They did it once, and by cracky, they know that if they persist, they can do it again, and relive their 'glory' years of youth.
To others, they actually believe that appeasement, pacifisim, global peace, global cooperation, the UN, one world government, socialism, take from the rich and give to the poor, support the worlds poor, etc. They are died in the wool socialists and although they know that communism and socialism has never worked, they honestly feel that they are much smarter and more intelligent than anyone in this nation or world that is on the 'other side', and also anyone back in the history of the world, and they know that they are the ones that can actually make socialism work because of their superior intelligence, and they think that they know all the mistakes of socialism and communism throughout the ages, and they will not make the same mistakes.
Then we have the young, the impressionable, the wet behind the ears people that believe all the lies, the false accusations, the propaganda, the hate that is spread by all those who are in the above categories. Most of them know no better, but a lot of these young kids are filled with the same rebellion and anger that many in our generation was filled with.
Then you have the die-hard liberals and democrats that by GAWD, they will vote for Kerry, no matter what because; a. He isn't Bush; b. They have always voted democratic and will never change; c. They actually believe all the crap being put out by the DNC, Kerry and the biased, partisan, slanted hate-filled media; or d. They are so filled with that that their reasoning and common sense has actually closed their minds to anything that is different than what they want to believe.
And of course, there are those that actually think that John F. Kerry is a good guy, a saint, a 'war hero', a God, etc...
And I suspose there are a few more categories, I just fon't feel like thinking about them.

Hitler had his side; the rest of us had ours.
Mussolini had his side; the rest of us had ours.
Genghis Khan had his side; the rest of us had ours.
Napoleon had his side; the rest of us had ours.
The Boston Strangler had his side; the rest of us had ours.
The UnaBomber had his side; the rest of us had ours.
Ted Bundy had his side; the rest of us had ours.
After Vietnam Kerry had his side; the rest of us had ours.
See how the left's belief in moral relativity and the "need to consider all sides" can lead to trouble?

I did a little reading of the FBI reports on VVAW over at the wintersoldier site-. I thought those folks were just upstarts in La and maybe chicago. They were national and international[they were active around naval bases in Japan].As everybody knows they encouraged "military disobediance",and offered free legal assistance for GIs caught contributing to the cause. That interested me-where would the lawyers come from. The report named The National Lawyers Guild . A google search of that organization reveals some really far left activity. A side by side search nlg/kerry leads to the funding. While I not into conspiracy theory, money granted the right organizations can influence a lot of hearts and minds.Trassa contributes alot of cash to the Tides foundation-which then doles it out to many very far left organizations-the word subversive could be applied to some of them. I guess what I'm saying is that Ms.k supports hubbies run for office monitaraly and psychologicly. However the groups that come into play are not ones that should be associated with elected officials(openly associated imho). I ran into this article by Frank Gaffney,Washington Times that says quite a bit. Article Here I don't think the voting public ought to put up with Ms ks politics and How can Kerry dissasociate himself from her associations? I hope you do read the article-it explains the context of what I'm attempting to say. |

Don't forget either that a lot of the people serving in today's military were raised on those pacifist appeaser ideals and have apparently rejected them. Not all of them, but it seems that a good portion have. Maybe the kids did exactly as the pacifist appeasers said to do and questioned their authority and saw what losers they really are.
To me, seeing so many young believing there are things worth fighting for and not following in the pacifist ways, in spite of decades of liberal brainwashing, does my over 50 heart good. |
