The other day, showing what an insensitive air-head he is, John Edwards said that if Kerry is elected, "...people like Christopher Reeve (who played Superman in a movie) would get up out of their wheelchairs and walk again". How do you suppose that made Max Cleland feel?
Apparently the REAL Superman took issue. I found this posted on a blog that supposedly exposes the "vast right wing bias" in media. Apparently it was in response to a post from someone who was complaining because many who post there don't even use a screen name, they just leave it blank, so it defaults to "anonymous". The complainer called them "girlie-men" afraid to show their identities. It was too good to keep to myself, so I am sharing it with you.
Quote: | Just because some people choose to post without divulging their identity don't think they are "girlie-men", although clearly some are.
Someone who runs around the country having to tell everyone "AWWWEEEEEE was in Vietnam and got a chest full of medals BEFORE I threw them away in protest BEFORE I had them reissued AFTER I had my less-than-honorable discharge 'fixed'" is a" girlie-man"
