BOR kept asking why not someone, like McCain, that likes Kerry?
Why not more balanced?
GOOD ANSWER GIVEN:
I only have 12 interviewed and alot of the film is actual footage of Kerry.
AND, these men have waited YEARS to be heard, they deserve to be heard...
VERY GOOD...... |

That's one of the things that I'm beginning to hate about all of FOX, and their "fair and balanced" mantra. Truth - real truth - doesn't have a second side; there's only the truth. Because they are so hung up on "fair and balanced" I wonder sometimes if they don't do stories because they can't get an opposing view.
In this case there is an opposing view, and last I heard Sinclair intended to honor it.
BOR, as usual, just pontificates. If he really wanted to be "fair and balanced" he might have pointed out that no opposing view was provided in F 9/11 or in Up the River. |

Definition of "fair and balanced" according to BOR: trash something the first time you speak of it then support it the second time and say you never trashed it _________________ TRUTH IS ALWAYS THE VICTOR |

Also the McCain response was that the twelve who are in the film are not politically tied. He did not want that to taint the testimonies in the documentary. _________________ The war against terrorism is not that Americans might die rather that we would alter our way of living. O'Reilly told Carlton he did a "hatchet job" with Stolen Honor because it wasn't fair and balanced. With O'Reilly's sexual harrassment charges now we know why he didn't care about "that Swiftboat stuff" the past couple of months - he was worried about his own a**. |

did any one hear tthe 2 lines prior to bor saying 'remember that when you go to vote on 11/2.... ????? I'd swear he was talking about Bush.... sure counldn't be kerry !
I remember 1 line : .... standing firm in the face of adversity is the measure of a man.... - sort of my version... he might have had it in reverse.... the measure of a man is if he stands....
If I didnt' know better (?) I 'd think he was telling people (with out being direct) to vote for Bush! _________________ Stevie

Saw the segment. McCain has had all the opportunity in the world to comment on his Vietnam experience and any relation John Kerry's actions may have had to it.
If life were truly "fair and balanced" these 12 men would have had their forum long ago. |
