I agree with all the comments on this thread. It just goes to show that JK is nothing but an empty suit. There's nothing original or human in there, except what Terry McAwfull and Ted Kennedy put there. There's no human warmth or feeling. It's really sad. My take on Theresa has gone from she's funny (when she told the reporter to "shove it", even tho she was wrong), to dislike (some of the really nasty things she's said), to pity (last night). When it gets to pity for the wife of a presidential candidate, it's really bad. JK deserves to lose in sooooo many ways, not least of which is how he treats his wife. He's an embarrassment! |

Near the end of debate, Schieffer, indicating they all were married to strong women, asked about “the most important thing learned” from the women, and Kerry replied, after noting that he was more lucky b/c he “married up” more so that the others:
Quote: | … if I could just say a word about a woman that you didn't ask about, but my mom passed away a couple years ago, just before I was deciding to run, and she was in the hospital and I went in to talk to her and tell her what I was thinking of doing. And she looked at me from her hospital bed and she just looked at me and she said, "Remember, integrity, integrity, integrity." Those are the three words that she left me with. |
Now that’s comedy. |

He is probably the type that will blame her when he loses the election. I wouldn't be surprised to hear some Teresa smearing coming from the Kerry camp, nothing he does anymore surprises me. I thank God my husband is my best friend and that we have a relationship built on love, trust, and respect. This guy is a worm! |

THOUGHT YOU MIGHT ENJOY THIS BLOG FROM NRO-KERRYSPOT
I posted this on best comment thread but is sure fits here to

Wow. Judging by my e-mail box, Kerry's answer to the wife question - okay, specifically, "strong women" question - by talking about his mother was a big turn-off with women voters. As someone else noted, Kerry didn't even say the word "Teresa."
The lovely ladies who read the Kerry Spot may not be quite representative of the voting public at large. But this was an easy softball, and it sounds like Kerry had a Dukakis moment.

Forgive me but I saw it a little different, Teresa could care less what he said. That women has to much money invested in him and wants that White house, so she feel like she made a good investment.
I do see her first husband turning in his grave watching her make a full of herself falling for a gigolo.
She's calling the shots just like she wanted him to get his first marriage annulled, and this was something his first wife did not approve of. |

and to top it off, Shieffer was on Imus this am...Imus asked him if he could hear what they were saying after the Debate. Shieffer said he could not, but that Teresa said ' Nice Question, Bob' to him...then one of the Bush daughters ran up to him and said 'Great question, Bob'.
Don't know yet if Shieffer realized the impact of the question at the time, but I'm sure history may find in that one question, he educated the country about sKerry's character to a degree beyond all others. (Present company excepted of course)

Take away Kerrys' botox, makeup, fancy suits, his big head of hair and what have you got. Frakenstein!!!!! A senator who scares the children.
Sorry but I am so angry about the direction our society is headed for, when they say he looked Presidential. The only thing he is, is a debate student and someone who hangs out with the in crowd who practices his lines in front of a mirror with a acting coach. |

this idiot was trying to imitate, ronald reagan , like he did several times last night, he got that saying, when they had the funeral service for reagan, the then prime minister of canada who is irish, like reagan, told a story about he and reagan waiting for their wives to arrive, and when they arrived, he said reagan put his hand on him and said we sure married up for a couple of irish men, it was meant in a loving way and how good the wives looked, just goes to show he is not a ronald reagan, reagan said that with a lot of love, and pride |

I have to agree that Treeezzzzzzza looked pitiful. My husband looked at me too and raised his eyebrows and said, "He didn't even mention her name or say how much he loved her. The guys know too. My husband is my very very best friend. He is my hero and the one I think about when he's here or at work. I loved how Bush talked on how much he loved Laura and his girls. It shows true family values. That's why he'll protect and take care of America better. His family is at stake too. And he only wants the best for his family. |

As I saw it Teresa threw her arms around Laura and shocked her a little in doing so. That was shocking to me! and then Kerry did try to hug on her and she stepped back. How dare they? They are just so inappropriate.
I could just hear Laura saying "Back off Buddy."
Yuk. cooties.
I do not feel sorry for Teresa because she KNOWS who he is and why she is with him. They are both self-serving and do not care anything about this country. I feel the same about the Clintons. They are two of the worst examples of marriage I have ever seen. Disgusting! |

Yes! Absolutely, minnie presley. You sure nailed this one. I was thinking of this story about President Reagan when kerry made his comment that coming from him and under those circumstances, was just plain crass. Unoriginal and hollow himself, kerry is always trying to 'be like' somebody else. He should give it up and just be what he is: a dork. _________________ TRUTH IS ALWAYS THE VICTOR |

I think to an extent Kerry did marry his "mother" in Teresa H-Kerry. But I have also read more than a few stories about how TH-K hates all the campaigning and didn't want JF'nK to do this.
Heck, compared to the digs she owns, moving to the White House would be a step down...for her. _________________ A willing tool of the "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy" since 1981. |

Ya nailed it!
The jackass was trying to rip off a quote! The geek is busted. I give him less than a week in the alzheimers unit, before they beat him up for talking too much! _________________ MOPAR-BUYER |
