lemme see...I think the Greeks used to never ok an idea they had come up with sober unless it still looked great when they were stoned...and the Persians vice versa...or vice versa...

Whatever this means...

Maybe its "post it while vodka-ized and get it vetted when sober"...or something profound...or not... Wink Smile

Vodka-ized or not, I'm totally with him, at least this year, on his last line

I'm sure that their purpose for bringing that
up was to "inform" Christian fundamentalists that their candidate
consorts with a man who's daughter is gay.

That is what I feel is but one of their purposes. It is a double edged sword for them. This morning, Edwards wife was quoted as saying something to the effect that the outrage shown by the Republicans shows how shameful Cheney is towards his daughter

Yes, it was a real cheap shot but a planned one, I'm sure. As always, they will try to milk it for what it's worth and straddle both sides.

True - but his posts are often hilarious...and this one was deadly serious and deadly accurate. I agree with him - the Dems are out to steal the election, and retain power any way they can.

It's going to be a GWB LANDSLIDE!!!!!

I have hesitated until now..but I think, from what my inside sources tell me who do the polling..the internals are FANTASTIC for Bush..and no more will Kerry get the MSM spotlight, no more debates..so what does this mean..Bush needs to Take that Bully pulpit and RUN..and he will.

John Howard's Landslide election is the precursor to our own. The MSM in Austraila lamented on the war in Iraq, people were shouting Liar, Liar to Howard, their economy was pounded..YET, in a landslide, the Aussie voted for Howard. To this day, the MSM in Austraila can not figure it out..

WE are not any different then they..I will take the shot now, and predict..and now believe that W will win in a landslide..

NOW GET OUT THE VOTE!!!!

PD

Agreed! I sense a huge shift after last night's debate. The country is turning toward Bush by a good majority. Main clue: I see the media beginning to go negative on Kerry. Nobody wants to be seen backing a loser.

I read a report today about a focus group who thought Kerry won the debate. But when asked who they would vote for, it was three to one for Bush. Seems the BS is not sitting well with the electorate.

The Gay community is not the dumb and dumber that is as easily led by the Dem mis-information machine. So I honestly believe that hurts them in the gay community. If not them surely their families could sympathize with Lynn and Dick Cheney, who have always come out stating they love their daughter making them stand high above the Dems on that point..

I also think that it hurts them in the gay community, though I doubt most will change their vote. However, I do think that their families will be mad enough to not vote for Kerry. Some of them have worked hard to get through tough times. Remarks like that cause pain. Also, moderates are very uncomfortable with that kind of behavior. I think those remarks put the seal on any chances Kerry had of winning.

Get out the vote - No traitors in the White House

John Kerry is not a good man. Talking about the opposition's family for political gain is a cheap shot and is in very bad taste. A tactical blunder on Kerry's part.
Kerry, I believe even brought up his deceased Mother for the same purpose to look the hero in the public eye. I do believe his Mother may have spoken those three words in an effort to have him remember his unforgivable actions back in '71.

Keep your hopes up, there's still one HUGE obstacle between Kerry and 1600 Pennsylvania and that's Lard-legs Hillary. Half of Kerry's campaign is run by people who owe their entire livelihood to the A-holes from Arkansas.

These are the same people who organized the Paul Wellstone Memorial in 2002 and we enjoy the results of that effort with a larger majority in congress.

This was just a case where the new Clintonistas are just standing aside and letting the Old Garde Kennedy Kommies have one last run at the throne. If Kerry wins, Hillary will never get to even run, unless both of the "Johns" go for a walk together in Fort Marcey Park.

Besides, the "Lyin' Witch" (you can replace the W for a B if you prefer) needs a few more years to figure out how to get those dead folks and dogs trained on the new voting systems.

Hey, SangRun Hunter, how do you think I feel living out West in California with all these idiot whackos in the Gay Bay and the Hollywood wunnabies? CA runs 60%-40% liberals. (And I mean L*I*B*E*R*A*L*S*!!!) I'm up north around Sacramento where it's a little better.
It's really too bad that the dems can infiltrate the undeveloped brains of the unknowing & uncaring multitudes which inhabit much of our land. I say this because if a person evaluates the reprocussions of a Kerry led nation, they should shudder!!!
