IMHO, I think that "They Served" is even more powerful than "Why" and possibly the other ads as well because the emotion it evokes is not one of anger toward Kerry but rather pride toward those fine Veterans and awe at the sheer number of them.
As I watch them stand there looking soberly into the camera lens, I can feel the passion and sense of duty to God and country that these men have. Without words, they express their conviction to protect America from a traitorous politician. In their eyes I can see the anguish felt by those who suffered because of John Kerry's political ambitions.
And then, 9 days before Veteran's Day, they can exact the justice they've been waiting for for over 30 years. _________________ ANNOUNCING: DOUBLE W. Which means, KERRY LOST! Now don't that feel GOOD????
Thank you SBVs & POWs FT! Your service to this country is incalculable!!! |

Powerpro,
I agree, I felt the exact same way about "They Served", and thought it would have more of an impact to everyday people who don't really understand all the circumstances about Kerry's record. |

I vote "They served" as the best all around mover.
I'm going to vote with my wallet on this one.
Please keep this on. The impact is long lasting and not negative. |

My wife is a Flight Attendant for a major airline, and has been gone for about a week and a half (and out of touch with up-to-date news). Not long after she came home, "They Served" came on. Her reaction: "WOW! That was powerful, and the most powerful ad yet. The effect of all those men standing there silently, letting the world know where they stand, speaks volumes!"
Have to tell you, though she's a supporter, she almost never reacts vocally and that strongly. IT IS A POWERFUL AD. |

I was compelled by both these last two adds
I adore WHY as well !!!!! ( it made my husband get all teary eyed with that admerial at the end )
and i was compelled enough to donate yet again another
100 dollars Now we are not rich ( other with warmth and love ) but up todate my husband and I have donated 600 dollars to this fine group
i can not tell you the difference each dollar pledged to them makes
yes they are good wonderful honorable men
but their power of the MEssage can only be felt by supporting their cause up to the last day that they can broadcast their messages !!!!!
to be honest these spots have often caught me off guard on cable news stations and I get very choked up when I see their eyes following that camera move and when the admerial speaks at the of WHY WOW WOW POWERFUL STUFF !!!!!
Please continue to help them support them with what ever you can ..
always breezy on ol cape cod |

Ad slightly changed....it now ends with saying "...and John Kerry can not be trusted."
Glad to see it, because before it did not leave that message as clearly as it could.
IE ...now it states it outright. |
