published by Regnery the book details how the American left has gone in league with Islamofacism. It traces back 60 years how the left sees America as the Great Satan and embraces all its enemies as friends and resounds today in the Jimmy Carter/ Teddy led irrational attack on Bush and the war. Horowitz a former radical leftest is qualified to talk. Today he says its time for the Republicans to explicitly state that Dem's are the friends of my enemy and therefore our enemy and a threat to the republic!
BookTV played his Thursday talk at Georgetown U. In the Q&A he's asked if Kerry is a communist?
No, he says. He's been suckered in to all this. KERRY'S TOO EGOTISTICAL TO BE A COMMUNIST; HE'S A LIAR AND A CROOK!!!
Loved it. |

I hate to disagree with Horowitz (he should know the Left well) - but I must observe that Stalin, Beria, Mao, Kruschev, and Gorbachev all had quite sizeable egos.
Now, if he'd said that Kerry wasn't smart enough to see through the Communistic BS he'd been fed, I'd agree with him. _________________ "War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things: the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks nothing worth a war, is worse."

All I know is that whatever Horowitz writes, I'll buy!
Kerry just plain ol' stupid enough to fall for communist and/or socialist rhetoric? I don't doubt it for a minute.
He sure sucked up KGB-scripted anti-war rhetoric and brought it back home and fed it to our Congress and the anti-war/anti-military movement in this country. _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

I just bought this book yesterday after seeing a Horowitz interview and being mightly impressed. I have just started reading it so can't comment on the content yet. His saying that kerry is not a communist but suckered into it... that intrigues me. This is how I understand that statement: kerry has no principles, no core and he is easily swayed into adopting positions via flattery of his ego, positions that require a mode of thinking (so-called) that is lazy and illogical, i.e. radical liberalism, communism. He couldn't make it as a Naval officer but when he bugged out and became a turncoat he found that he was right in his element standing (or sitting as the case may be) in front of the masses of stupidity spouting what they wanted to hear. He got the adulation his narcissistic personality craved and he got to live his Walter Mitty fantasy life by jacking his jaws and doing nothing and that's what he's been doing ever since. I hope he is doing it in France permanently and very soon.
Now I'd better go read Horowitz' book and find out if I'm wrong! _________________ TRUTH IS ALWAYS THE VICTOR |

I also visit FrontPageMag.com/ a terrific newsite that has many directions and much to read.
Horowitz's books are fine stuff too.
It's frustrating though that many conservative thinkers can't work television well in the competitive sense. In one-on-one interviews, people like Horowitz, Coulter, Buckley, and others are very good when given the time to extrapolate a point.
They don't do so well however on the "Crossfire" type shows where the other guests are so interruptive, and rude.
But all the commie-lib-dems can be is rude. They're not out to make a point. They're out to stop Conservatives from making a point and nuking the commie-lib-dems wimpy argument. _________________ A willing tool of the "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy" since 1981. |
