Quote: | At his next stop, Village Grocery in Buchanan, Ohio, Kerry bought a hunting license for a hunting trip next week. |
Wonder what his stories will be about this trip?!?! It perplexes me a bit, because I doubt he is going deer hunting. Bow season is in then, but I can hardly see Kerry up in a stand (especially since his favorite tactic seems to be crawling on his belly through the brush ). Muzzleloader is in for some of the State Parks starting October 25th (Dec. 27th statewide), but thats not "next week". And gun season starts November 29th, way past next week.
Dove, Canadian Geese, & other bird hunting is not in season except grouse, and I definitely cant see Kerry hunting grouse here. They are very few still around here, at least in my neck of the woods.
Turkey season is in with guns & bow till the 25th, so this is a possibility, although, I've never heard him tell a story about his great Turkey hunts.
So, Kerry bought a non-resident hunting license ($125) and if he goes deer or turkey hunting he needs to buy a "special permit deer license" ($24) or a fall turkey stamp ($24). Anybody want to place a bet on what Kerry hunts?
A.) Deer during bow season
B.) Turkey
C.) Squirrel
D.) None, it was all political and he just bought a license to make up another unbelievable hunting story?
E.) Game that isnt in season (violates law)
F.) Tells story of shooting something that wasnt legal at the time
G.) Add your own scenario
Regardless, I'm sure we will hear about this in the upcoming week! I hope someone in the media knows the right questions to ask, cause I think Kerry is a fraud when it comes to hunting.
By the way, my prediction is D
Edited: Hold on a sec, I read on further and it says in the article he paid $140 for the hunting license....A non-resident is $125 and a deer/turkey stamp is $24. Thats more like $150. Ahhh....I think i have it figured it out, he bought a Ohio Wetlands Stamp ($15) to hunt geese or ducks. Still, it doesnt make sense. Canadian Geese (I think ended Sept. 15th) & Dove are not in season. The only remaining alternative would be for Kerry to go Duck hunting, and for this to happen, he needs a Federal Duck Stamp (another $15).

I wouldnt be surprised if Kerry did something violating the DNR (wouldnt that be great seeing the game warden on his rear!) or actually doesnt go hunting at all, but just for show.

Personally, I think he's lying about hunting "next week"
I think he's going to be out stumping, and won't take a day off until the election.
Certainly NOT "wasting time" killing an animal that will alienate 60% of his vegetarian/animal rights/gun-control base! _________________ USMC 69-72, 7th Comm, 3rd MarDiv, FMFPAC

Whether he decides to hunt or not, it's sickening how Kerry calculates EVERYTHING he does. If he decides to go deer hunting, I say we kidnap Terry McAwful and dress him up in a deer costume. Who's with me? |

October 13, 2004 -- ON top of everything else, Sen. John F. Kerry is an out doorsman,
although he wouldn't be so politically incorrect as to refer to himself in anything other
than gender-neutral terms. So he's an "outdoorsperson." ....

Kerry is no hunter period. Hopefully, the NRA over the next week is going to eat him alive as part of their $20 million ad campaign. His record on guns is abysmal. Take a look at the laws up there in Massachusetts and go figure what they'll be if he gets in. To all of the real non-girlie men out there let me ask you a few questions. If you were choosing up sides to play football, would you chose "3 Scratchs and I Quit Kerry" or Bush. If you had to share a foxhole with someone, would you chose "3 Scratches and I haul Ass out of there Kerry" or would you chose Bush. And to real women out there, how the hell can you have any respect for Kerry and his pretty boy running mate? |

You could put him a deer suit, but the skunk odor would remain. _________________ Phil Toth

That was a vicious swimming rabbit that Carter killed with an oar.
I bet that if Kerry goes hunting anyone along with him will keeping
their eyes on were Kerry is pointing his gun. |
