Early voting starts today at 8:00 AM till 5:00 PM. I am going as soon as I get my son off to school and showered. Ironically, my ballot gets to be cast at the Barbara Bush Middle School.
So, all you Texans out there, get out and vote early.
Edited to add for all those that live in my district, now is the time to finally retire Martin Frost from Congress. Pete Sessions needs your vote in this very tight race.

When my husband and I went to vote this morning, KRLD Radio was there and interviewed us. Told them that Texans should get out and vote for Bush whether they think he will take Texas and their vote does not count. Told them we wanted the popular vote this time and that every single vote matters in that direction. Did not want to have the Democrats at every turn say we didn't elect a president with the popular vote.
At 8:30, there was probably at least 60 people who have voted already.
Remember, even in the states that are a sure thing for Bush, we need that popular vote too.
Also, the Dems had been out early and had stolen all the Republican signs so I am now going to headquarters and going to replinish those signs every day if needed. |

As soon as my daughter gets here we are walking across the street to the library and vote. She is 19 and this is her first time to vote so she is excited to vote for Bush.
I agree about the poplular vote thing. I want Bush to not only win an electoral landslide but also a popular landslide. I want to send Kerry slinking back to his hole in total humiliation and defeat.
The Dems are already trying to pull a fast one in FloriDUH. ...but they got busted.
GWB landslide............electoral AND popular !!!!! |

My family and I will vote later today, and I agree - we want Bush to win not only the electoral vote but the popular vote in a landslide. Every vote counts in every state, even if not a swing state, and I cannot wait to cast my vote for my beloved President and fellow West Texan.
GO BUSH/CHENEY!

I have been disenfranchised as a voter today and I am not happy! I showed up at 3:30am this morning to cast my ballot during “Early Voting” and they wouldn’t let me in!
They are trying to suppress the White vote here in Texas! _________________

I voted about 1:30 today. I could not believe that I had to wait in line. One of the workers told me over 500 people had voted so far, he had never seen so many early voters in his several years of experience working at the voting site.

Me and my daughter will have to wait to vote also. THe line at the library is out the door and down the sidewalk. Holy Cow. I've never seen it this crowded.
People are pumped to vote this time.

I can't get used to the whole early voting thing. I will vote on The Day. It's tradition.
Yeah, I agree about Texas and the popular vote thing. We know Dubya will take Texas, but everyone I know here says that is not the point, they want to PUNISH Kerry with the popular vote tally.
Every vote counts!! |
