So here in Colorado we have early voting, I went into the polling station, stood in line, and went to the booth to cast my vote.
I have to say it was very confusing, I couldnt figgure out why there were these boxes next to these names. And why in the heck when I touched a box did it highlight the WHOLE line and put an X in the box?
What really got me confused was when I was done at the top of the Machine was a flashing light that said VOTE VOTE VOTE VOTE VOTE it was as if everyone was going to start stairing at me, I felt very intimidated and I believe they were trieing to suppress my VOTE. I mean how dare they call attention to me like that, And why was there a Police officer there ? it was really scarey!
On the screen there was an arrow pointing to the flashing VOTE VOTE VOTE button and low and behold it said press vote button to cast your vote. So now becouse I voted for Certain Candidate they wanted me to throw my vote AWAY!
All in all the whole experience was frieghtening and I felt as though I was about to be Disenfranchised.
All this happened in a total of three minutes.
By the way this is a parody. |

Beat you! Oregon is a vote by mail state. My wife and I voted for Dubya on Sunday morning and I hand delivered them to the county election office yesterday morning before I had my first cup of coffee. _________________ I was going to become an anarchist, but they had too many rules. |

I never waste my time voting early.
I'm an election judge and have to be at the polling place for 12 1/2 hours anyway, so I just vote during that time.
In Texas, we have a system where there is always a judge or assistant judge representing the two major parties. It makes voter fraud a little more difficult to accomplish, but it wasn't always that way. There were a lot of dead people who voted for LBJ! _________________ "FLUSH THE JOHNS"

Out of all seriousness I have absolutely no idea how anyone could have a problem with a punch ballot or touch screen Its laughable! My overall experience was quick and simple. |

Oregon was a little confusing, we had to fill in the middle of an arrow pointing at the candidate or measure. They didn’t even have lines to color in, just an empty space in the middle of the arrow! How do you know if you are coloring outside the lines if there are no lines to color in? Besides that, they made us choose between using a pencil or a black pen. I had to go through several pens before I found one with black ink. I am just glad we made it through all the confusion! _________________ I was going to become an anarchist, but they had too many rules. |

Paul 5388, I lived in Illinois for 22years, Election Day Tuesday was a very religious holiday in the City of Chicago, that's when the dead rise from the earth to cast their ballots. And the rally cry from Precinct Captains was "Vote Early, and Vote Often"

fastrock,
You have to realize we have had a basic mistrust of Republicans since Reconstruction over 100 years ago. It was considered to be perfectly normal for a county to have more votes (100% Democrat) than they had in existing population. I don't know what Illinois' rational was/is.
I think I saw the Long Beach a few times, but I know I saw the big "E"! The Talos really wasn't much more than a deck ape's nightmare! _________________ "FLUSH THE JOHNS"
