I was listening to the radio this morning and apparently Mr. Kerry is going Duck shooting in Ohio. Now what I find most upsetting is the fact that if he is seen with a gun in his hand this will be enough to sway some of the undecided voters in that state. If this is true what does that say about how people choose a President. We really in a bad way. If thats the case the next thing he will be doing is running around with a saucpan in his hand to appease all those stay at home mothers that his wife said do nothing. |

Hopefully, people will see this for the shameless stunt that it is and will further expose Kerry for the opportunistic slug that he is. At least we can hope and pray. Of course, Komrade Kerry's Koolaid Klan will lap it up, but I do think, at least hope, that real people will see through this for what it is.
BTW, Rush just called Lurch Elmer Fudd in his camaflouge suit.

I think that we should remember that most Kerry voters are voting not for Kerry but against Bush. Many are voting for Kerry in spite of the fact they don't particularly like him. When he does something that is obviously not genuine that pushes his unlikeability up. Everyone will have a different threshhold for how much dislike and misgivings they will put aside in order to vote against Bush.
Hence, Let him run around with a gun because people will see it for what it is and it'll add to the "I don't trust him" feeling many of them have to have by now. Some of them will reach they level they are no longer able to put aside misgivings and he'll loose votes!
And thats my theory. _________________ Deborah

I believe it will have just the opposite effect. By the way, he didn't "carry" any geese out, even he supposedly bagged his limit. He was just "too" giddy about the red sox. And Please guys, we are much smarter in this state than seeing a SOB toting a gun and pretending to hunt geese. |

I think those smart enough to own guns are smart enough to see through Kerry. |

Just an observation - in my neighborhood there are several hunters. Not one of them has a JK sign in their front yard. Two known hunters do have Bush signs. Don't know if this means anything or not, but I found it interesting. |

Duck hunting? Flu shots?
These are issues???
Aren't most of Kerry's voters anti-gun fascists? How is his non-hunting hunting going to help win votes for him? Aren't social mosderates/fiscal conservatives the so-called swing voters? The so called soccer moms?Hard to imagine they are going to be turned on by seeing Kerry shooting at little defenseless birdies. I do not think Kerry tromping around in the woods blasting away at a few poor ducks is going to do anything to sway the NRA membership.
It is the scatter-gun buck shot approach to sucking up for votes. Pitiful. _________________ The last refuge of scoundrels is not patriotism; it is finicky liberal humanitarianism.--Martin Paretz |

We are here in KY. I really don't understand how anyone could be undecided at this point. What does it take anyway? |

News story (surreptitiously written by The Poodle): Kerry, with disregard for his own personal safety, bravely charged a numerically superior force of geese, blasting away. Despite tremendous personal risk, Mr. Kerry came away with a trophy goose.
This story was signed by a three star admiral. It was subsequently re-written, and signed by a four-star admiral then re-written again and signed a Secretary of the Navy.
What really happened: A SINGLE goose flew by and one of Kerry’s partners shot and wounded the bird. Kerry then chased the wounded bird down and shot it in the back.

Did Kerry leave the hunt 1/3rd of the way into his commitment? |
