Kimmymac--yes he may be a minor devil, but his strings will be pulled by a very sinister spirit-- I think this man is George Soros.

If Bill Clinton really does have designs on the UN and his wife is on the Supreme Court as some suggest then we will have a problem of Biblical proportion. Attempts to change our constitution to allow legalized drug use, driving God totally out of the public eye, churches will lose their privileges, the right to bear arms will surrender to the will of the UN, our soldiers will fight only at the behest of the UN and be subjugated to it's authority, and the Patriot Act will be used against us in the name of protecting us. But before that you will see a near Civil War.

There are a lot of people with a socialist agenda, whether they know it's socialist or not. A lot of them think they are just compassionate and progressive and caring people; therefore they feel vastly superior to conservatives, because they want to make everything nice for everyone.
They are completely unrealistic about human nature. Utopians always are.

They see that probably a majority of Americans have woken up, rolled over, and kicked that dog off the bed. 9-11 happened, and we aren't thirsty for kool-aid. We are calling it as we see it and rejecting their cherished agenda in droves. This election is a death threat to liberalism, socialism, secular humanism, relativism, and all their other isms. Their media monopoly is broken, and only a return to power can help them restore it. Without that, they'll never hold their "core" of kooks, victims, dunces and libertines together for another 4 years.

As they see it, through fogged over eyes, a victory for evil is at hand. They see traditional Americans as embarassingly crude, raw, rough, and unmerciful, as compared to their oh-so enlightened UN-ity. They think if Bush wins it will be a huge setback on the golden path to universal brotherhood and peace.
And it might be, if such an outcome were even possible. What they can't get is that their philosophy was only leading us to worldwide chaos, totalitarianism, and genocide. Hopefully we have them substantially outnumbered this time, and can finish WWIII before they regroup.

What many people fail to see is is that both Democrats and Republicans have been divided into Conservatives and Liberals. McCain is a Republican, but he is a Liberal first. Zell Miller is a Democrat, but he is a Conservative first. This split is not recognized by most Americans. There are a tremendous number of Democrats who will vote for Kerry because he is a Democrat. These same people may be Conservative in their thinking, but will still vote the party line even though Bush actually represents their beliefs. This split in both parties just isn't apparent to most Americans.

Buffalo is right-on. Remember, this is the Democrat party (controlled by the exreme left wing) that threw a more conservative Dem like Joe Liberman to the dogs. I heard JL said some good things about W. recently (on talk radio perhaps?). I imagine when push comes to shove, Liberman and many other more centrist Dems will vote for W. Smile

If anyone wants to vote for JK just ask them why they would vote to put an admitted war criminal in the White House. Meet the Press April 18, 1971.

I don't know why people bring up that "admitted war criminal" stuff. He didn't commit any war crimes as far as anyone knows!

Oh sure, he says he participated in what? Burning villages, firing in free fire zones, and using a .50 cal MG!

Christ, string that man up, the criminal!!! Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

I may be way off, but I have my own theory about the anger I see.

I read an interesting little piece not too long ago about an experiment had been done on how liberals and conservatives reacted to the stimuli of images of 9/11. The volunteers were hooked up to an appartus that measured the activity in the part of your brain that reacts to fear, empathy and the like.

The results showed that the liberals, when shown images of 9/11, the buildings falling, the crowds running, more graphic stuff like the poor people that were jumping to their deaths, showed marked increase in activity ... while the conservatives had little response.

The article, in a liberal magazine, said in the conservatives' defense that the results did not imply that we were heartless, or apathetic, but that we tend to look at the world in a more realistic way, and were less shaken by acts of violence than our liberal counterparts.

The reason I bring this up is this.. I believe these people are fearful now, more than us.. in this post-9/11 world.. a world where we have to be vigilent, where we are at war, where we are facing an enemy abroad and at home. This fear makes them angry, hostile, out-of-balance.. they wish it would 'just go away'.. and in some weird way, they blame President Bush for 'not allowing it to'. John Kerry offers them a return to normalcy.. 'not war, just a nuisance'.. comforting words, making them believe they can attain what is, at this point in history, unattainable..

Good observation. This is exactly how Neville Chamberlain soothed the Brits regarding the Nazi's. It didn't work all that well as I remember..

Studies have shown that playing music to cattle as the entire the slaughter house make them calmer, easier to control, peaceful....

We can make nice soothing sounds to keep peace --- but we would still be walking into death

As each day goes on I am more and more convinced this is a spiritual battle for the soul of the United States --- now liberals would tell you I am an uneducated, stupid, heartless, mindless sheeple .... Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

Tey would be wrong AGAIN, STILL.
