They caved. Their one-hour 'news program' was a hodgpodge of nothing. It had no point. A person seeing it who knows nothing would end up thinking Kerry was a great guy. The show was a piece of crap. I AM FURIOUS _________________ TRUTH IS ALWAYS THE VICTOR |

Agreed.
Myabe two minutes of "Stolen Honor" clips, rebutted by Muller and that turkey.
More minutes of "Going Upriver" exerpts, unrebutted.
Left open questions about W's ANG service. _________________ Retired USN Capt.; Market Time vicinity ChuLai 6/67-2/68; Maddox 8/64 Tonkin Gulf; NGFS I Corps 6-12/65; Saigon evac. 4/75. |

OH DEAR! darn ! are you sure???? I can't see it until 9 pm !
if so, I'll email them and all their sponsors and buy none of their stuff!
I was hoping it might even be better by adding the media blockout of it into the program!
this is terrible!!!!! _________________ Stevie

Waynne
I agree with you.
They fell back on trying to air the same amount of time for each side rether than telling what the actual story was. They raised many points about Kerry without properly answering them as they have been answered on this forum. Over all the piece failed. _________________ 18th Engineer Brigade

I agree, they caved. It was a complete waste of time. The POW's hardly had any air time. The other side stated things that were not true and they didnt get any follow up questions. |

I agree as well. Given all the contraversy, I was expecting to see some serious charges against Kerry (similar to what was detailed in Unfit for Command). Instead, what I saw was a fluff piece that didn't really go anywhere.
If Sinclair lost all those advertisers and stock value just to air that, then they truly deserve to go out of business. CBS News was more resolute in trying to peddle obviously forged documents than Sinclair was in airing the voice of actual POWs. |

Sell your Sinclair stock. They proved tonight that trying to be all things to all peole, you satisfy none.
I felt the show was more of a hatchet job on Bush than anything else. All the snippets they played and photo montages most of the time carried a negative message about Bush.
I was prepared to support Sinclair.
Now they just might as well go away.
Last thought, did anybody else think the producer of "Going Upriver", Mr. Monotone was pretty scary? |

I think everyone should arm themselves with calm.
All the legal wrangleing going on I think what I just saw was the first act in a long (two week)opera.
Let's wait and see what sinclair does in the days to follow. |

Even though the show was a waste it did bring a lot of attention to the movie over the past two weeks. |

For those who didn't see it, count yourself lucky!
I wish I Hadn't!@!!
The net effect was Kerry was OK with what he did.
And Bush has questions about his guard service.
I am soooo Furious, even my dog is hiding from me!!
I was so supportive of Sinclair, now I don't care what happens
to them. What a mishmash of nothing this was!
If anything it helps Kerry.
Our poor POW's, what a sellout. |
